Had the pleasure of staying here on valentines night and it was a very enjoyable experience. The receptionist on check in was more than helpful and our room was really lovely. Good hotel ,helpful/friendly staff , a bit out of the way but nice place , 26 miles from Letterkenny 18 miles to Dungloe . Set in a wee village with Friendly Irish / English Speakers, there's a Pub & Garage/Store across the road , if your not there to drink, then it's touring about your at, Just remember road signs... Small smelly rooms. No blankets in 2 of rooms we booked 4. We had our evening meal in the foyer at a small table, food was awful. We stayed here for 2 nights. A Thursday and Friday. Used groupon voucher. I hate moaners but I run my own business and I know what it's like when customers pay for prawns and want crayfish. Hotel is modern clean staff were all friendly helpful and welcoming. Food was lovely and a good variety. Hotel has lovely views of the Atlantic although remote ideal place for a quite getaway. Would visit again

Yet another few days in Gortahork and as usual the food was excellent and reasonably priced . The staff were all on top of their game with no complaints from us . We have been to this charming hotel on many an occasion, stopping off for food and staying on to enjoy the atmosphere and warmth of the surroundings and the staff. Just back from a fantastic weekend break in this Hotel. Everything was first class, rooms, food, staff & entertainment There is no lift but rooms are available on the ground floor & only one flight of stairs Plenty of room for coach parking. Staff are excellent, very accommodating & friendly. Would recommend it highly. Hopefully we will be back again... More

This hotel is situated in the heart of the Gaeltacht (Gaelic speaking area) in a most beautiful setting in Donegal. The hotel is comfortable and the staff are extremely welcoming. Stayed here for a couple of nights few weeks ago.. Couldn't fault it food was lovely all do you wait awhile for it.. Room was lovely and clean all round 100% just a pity it wasn't summer time. Only other thing I did notice is there isn't any wifi in the rooms not the 1 I was in anyway.
