We stayed here as we were attending a wedding in Lough Rynn castle. On arrival we were greted by Marie & Padraig and freshly made coffee & scones, straight out of the oven!! . I can safely say our room was the largest room I've ever stayed in, it was similar to a suite in a hotel, with a fantastic... More

It is my second visit to Clooncahir Lodge while attending weddings in Lough Rynn Hotel. The view is amazing over the lake from the rooms. I would recommend this B&B to anyone looking for a break in the country. The owners are really friendly and are always accomodating for lifts to/from the wedding/pub. I will be return and stay there... More

Gorgeous house with spectacular views of the Lough. Padraig & Marie were a most welcoming couple. 6 of us (three couples) stayed while attending a wedding in the castle. It's at the entrance to the avenue and a stones throw from Lough Rynn. We had hotel quality rooms with huge beds & top class ensuites. Breakfast was delicious & we... More

Extremely disappointed with this place. We booked a room in Clooncahir Lodge 9mths prior to a wedding that we were due to attend in Nov, based on the good reviews we read on tripadvisor. We then get a call out of the blue to say that a group had booked the full place & paid the deposit there & then.... More

While I am very dissappointed to receive this review I totally understand the anger of the post. I was away and my partner took a booking which resulted in a double booking and when we received a deposit we contacted the person in question and it was not just a meighbour we suggested but another B & B we knew... I can not say enough good things about this B & B. From the moment you arrive Marie and Padraig make you feel so welcome. We had the large bedroom overlooking the lake and it was like staying in a 5 star hotel room. The house is facing Lough Rynn and has the most spectacular view from the dining area... More

I cannot recommend Clooncahir lodge more highly. Myself and my Girlfriend attended a wedding in the Castle nearby and were made to feel very welcome by Marie and Padraic. The setting for their house is idyllic. over looking the beautiful Lough Rynn from a slighyly elevated position. Breakfast on the deck oustide was a real treat. We managed to bag... More

We recently stayed at Clooncahir Lodge as we had a wedding at Lough Rynn Castle. I can't recommend this B&B enough as we were treated so well and made to feel at home. Marie and Padraig were wonderful hosts and cooked us an amazing breakfast. It was so nice to sit at the breafast table looking out at the views... More

I stayed in Clooncahir Lodge when attending a wedding in nearby Lough Rinn Castle (which is only a few hundred meters away and the B & B overlooks Lough Rinn). The B & B has recently been renovated and is spotless and well decorated throughout. Our room was large and both the food and the welocme were exceptionally nice. I... More
