Fantastic Hotel in a perfect location for a first time skier. Staff very friendly. Lovely Sauna and Steam which we used every evenings after a full day on the slopes. Ski school and nursery slopes located steps away from the hotel.

Oops - re my previous review- beer was €3.30, it was the wine that was €2 a glass. Doesnt change anything, great place, recommended! Oh and Friday night saw a 4 course meal, salad bar, soup, main (i had roast beef) followed by an awesome selection at the desert buffet... an absolute dream for anyone who has a sweet tooth!

Excellent location. Food was excellent. One evening had a farmers buffet, awesome carvery, another evening had a fish buffet with live harp music, truly exceptional. The food was fresh, great selection and tasted awesome, they clearly take pride in their cuisine. The room was a good size, comfy, large bed, modern and clean. Could not have hoped for better. The... This hotel is lovely with spacious comfortable rooms, windows you can open, good water pressure etc. We were half board which saves the hassle of finding restaurants. The food is Austrian so it's not going to be too sophisticated, but there is plenty of it and we enjoyed it all. Breakfast buffet with hot options. Dinner was a choice of... More

We stayed here as part of a large group of 30plus and having read other reports was expecting a lot of the hotel. In the main it was very good. The room 209 was an excellent room looking over some school playing fields and the mountains and local church. It was a good size and possibly capable of taking 4 people.It... More

This would be our third trip to the Tirol in the last 12 months and we chose the Tirolerhof after reading the reviews on Trip Advisor and were delighted with our choice. We booked through Inghams lakes and mountains flying from Manchester to Salzburg. Landing time was later than expected due to adverse weather conditions but after landing and collecting... More

The excellent reviews on here helped us to choose this hotel, and we were not disappointed. We arrived late at night after a delayed landing and a coach detour due to a ferocious thunderstorm. After taking our luggage up to our rooms we were served a three course meal in the restaurant consisting of home made soup, cheese & ham... More

Great holiday. Lovely big rooms with a large double bed, modern clean bathroom, plenty of wardrobe and cupboard space, safe and another locking cupboard, lounge area, two settee (that could double as extra beds), balcony with lovely view, fridge. Rooms get hot at night and there is no air conditioning. Beds are a little hard, but those are my only... More

Just returned from a great stay at this hotel. It is located right next door to the ski lift and ski hire shop. Room under hotel to store your skis and heated room for drying boots. Oberau offers blue runs for beginners and a black run but the free ski bus takes you to other resorts with harder runs for... More
