Can't complain about the service at this place. The proprietor will leave you feeling right at home. This area is the most charming and friendly of any in Nova Scotia or any where else for that matter.

This the best place to overnight in the area. The rooms are clean and well appointed for the price. Friendly owner too. Louise will look after you. They just do a continental breakfast but it will satisfy most people.

Bienvenue a Acadie! This was our first stop during our Nova Scotia honeymoon trip. Louise is a great host and ambassador for the Acadian shores region. She patiently answered my many questions about Acadian culture and cuisine. By sharing her knowledge and personal stories, she really enriched our visit to the area. Our room (which she graciously upgraded for our... More

I have stayed for multiple nights 4 years in a row, the management and staff treated me like family. When I was sick they brought ginger ale and toast to my room :) The rooms were spotless and a great size.

We stayed in this hotel for two nights. Actually checked in amidst Hurricane Arthur, very good to know the hotel was fully operational due to back up generators. The owner/operator Louise was very friendly, accommodating and knowledgeable with the area. Rooms are spacious and beautifully decorated with antiques and hand made quilts. Breakfast was delicious and staff friendly and accommodating.... More

Over the the last couple of weeks I had the pleasure of staying at the inn while working in the area. This is a small, family run place with lots of charm, a great location with many excellent sea food restaurants nearby, and run by a wonderful couple. It faces St. Mary's Bay to the west with great sunsets and... More

Just wanted to write a note about the hotel I stayed at on my trip to Nova Scotia. The hotel was the Au Havre du Capitaine located in Meteghan, which is not far from Yarmouth. I came up to Nova Scotia on business from San Antonio,Texas and this hotel had Texas Hospitality written all over it. This is a wonderful... More

My family..stayed for one night. Will definitely return. Staff were very friendly, we were travelling with my two year old grandson. Monette got her guitar and played and sang children songs to him. He loved it...and her. We really enjoyed our time relaxing at the end of the day around the fireplace. Breakfast was enjoyed by all.....

Fresh and clean large room, we were in 17, and very friendly and accommodating staff! Right across the road from the bay, with beautiful sunset view. Close to all necessities. The community itself was very friendly, in fact one of the friendliest places we have stayed! Will be back!
