This was just what we needed after climbing toubkal and a long ride down south. The pool is beautiful, the service is great and the food is delicious. Although the breakfast was very average. The experience was made more fun by the closeness of the staff and the lighthearted atmosphere. Most of them spoken French and Arabic but noted always... More

The hotel looks like a little bit of paradise just at the border of the desert. it is located a few kilometers from the last town M'hamid before the Sahara. i would suggest to go to the local market as it is a real opportunity to discover a real souk with the locals doing their business. The service at the... More

If you want to experience the real Morocco and the Sahara desert in one place this hotel is a must. We spent 2 nights here which included a trip into the desert arranged at short notice by the hotel. It was magical experience to be staying in a great hotel where the road quite literally ends and the desert begins.... More

We stayed at Dar Azawad towards the end of a fantastic 2 week private tour of Morocco and will never forget our experience. Our room, close to the lovely pool was very comfortable. We even managed to get Wifi in the room. We arrived around 3.30pm after a drive from Skoura so the pool was much appreciated. And more so... More

If ever in M'Hamid, might I suggest to check out Dar Azawad. It's more than a hotel, it's a freakin' resort! Major fun was had by all! The rooms, are spacious, clean and comfortable. Nice swimming pool. I enjoyed it very much! Very close to the desert. The staff is very pleasant. A special thanks to Daoud. The breakfast is... More

We booked 1 night in the bivouac Reve Sahara and 1 night for the Luxury tent formula. When we first arrived to the hotel, nobody cared about us, neither welcomed us. We tried to talk to the manager which didn't seem to care. On the first night, we discover that their Camping Reve Sahara isn't ready yet, so they sent... More

We spent 2 nights here in April and had a lovely stay. We were upgraded when we arrived to an amazing suite with desert views and our own little terrace where we could watch the stars. Food was delicious and Vincent and his team could not have been more helpful in making our stay so fantastic. We were able to... More

We arrived at the Hotel in the afternoon and soon we've been brought beside the pool with a fantastic Moroccan team waiting to go in the room. We spent 2 nights in the Suite of the Sultan, extremely confortable (for a Maison d'Hotes), very spacious and with a fantastic view, from the external terrace, over palms and the sand. All... More

Hard to find fault. Terrific night in a desert camp, then absolute comfort the following night in one of the Sultan Rooms. Lovely staff who helped us to get our car fixed. Great, friendly service all round.

Luxurious accommodation in the desert with resident cats, dogs, sheep, donkeys and a camel. Excellent base for visiting the desert. Very comfortable room, copious breakfast and dinner. At lunchtime, we had to send back an undercooked chicken and lamb kebab, but the chips were tasty. Heated swimming pool. If you are going all the way to M’Hamid, definitely stay more... More
