We stayed for a night at Hamada du Draa in M'hamid before being taken to their camp in the Saharan sand dunes the next morning for an overnight stay. If you are expecting luxury, this is not the place. It is a really good place to stay as a base for the desert and you get great value for money.... More

I would advise anyone who is going to Zagora to extend your journey a little further to M'Hamid. The campsite has good facilities and a pool set in a lovely garden. A nice base for visiting the dunes!

This is just a fantastic place to stay. The lodge itself is very tastefully laid out with beautiful tranquil gardens. The facilities are very good and always clean and there is wifi on site that actually works. But it is the staff that makes the place so attractive - everyone is helpful and friendly and there is a feeling of... More

Never have I had such a chance to have my mind blown like I have with Hassan and his crew in the Sahara. Mohommad and Akmed two of the drivers I really know how to make you feel at home as they explain everything about the Desert and the Nomadic/Berber lifestyle. The bumpy ride there feels like a roller-coaster but... More

My husband and I stayed here with Hassan in early September and it was a fantastic experience all around. Hassan is an enthusiastic host who runs a great operation. He and his crew sent us on an unforgettable overnight into the Sahara, took care to have a wide and delicious array of Moroccan meals planned for us, and did it... More

So: - Cleaneliness, 4: We moroccans aren't clean, not in my case, probably not in yours, fellow moroccan who reads this and think I'm a "bad moroccan" (;D), but why not face the truth. This hotel is very clean compared to the country. I could not say where they hide the garbage, and I know hotels who almost do it... More

We stayed in the really nice spacious huts/cabins all made of natural materials. The swimming pool was a pleasure after our long one day trip from Marrakech. In general our stay was very pleasant, though the dinner and the breakfast still have room for improvement. After this stay we went into the desert with Sahara Best Travel, a company that... More
