Excellent room in a great location. All staff exceptionally helpful. Food in the Ocean Bar Restaurant & at breakfast excellent. An ideal central location- went to Cliffs of Moher & Loophead..also quick n easy to get to Lahinch & Doonbeg for avid golfers.

A dark dungeon of a hotel...a pity..on a beautiful site close to the Atlantic...poorly designed and not very nice..inside the hotel makes little use of the beautiful surroundings....a concrete oversized mass....ps the staff very nice

Just home from a lovely break in this Hotel. I booked it because of the Atlantic Ocean view. Wow we were really impressed. When we checked in we got a wonderful surprise , in our sea view room we were met with a lovely welcome card and two pieces of brownie on a plate saying Happy Birthday in chocolate for... More

Where does one start with this hotel? From the moment you arrive your breath is taken away by the beautiful views. You really have to see it to appreciate the stunning scenery. Then you enter the hotel and are treated to a first class service by reception. Our room was an upgrade and was very spacious and spotlessly clean. The atmosphere... More

First time I have ever visited this amazing hotel and I can't wait to return! The reception area is a great indicator of what lies ahead - the beach, stones, rope, hand made seaweed soap are just some of the touches to make you feel at one with the ocean in the pure luxury of the bedroom, with its beautiful... My boyfriend and I spent last weekend in Spanish point, where the weather was far from idyllic. However our saving grace for the trip was our visit to the Ocean Bar in the Armada Hotel for dinner and cocktails on Saturday Night. I have to say it was absolutely fantastic.Especially the service. Glenn looked after us for the evening and was... More

We stayed at one of the Hotel's adjacent holiday cottages, which overlooked the bay and the beach. The views were spectacular, and the hotel staff and setting are second to none. The friendliness of all in the village and beyond was a real credit to West Clare, from the surf instructor to the staff in the kids club at the... More

Nice hotel. Clean and modern, but unable to cope with the masses. Due to its isolated location in a very popular scenic spot, it isn't big enough to cater for coach parties, regulars and those choosing to just drop in. We were on an organised 4 night coach trip, while the rooms were lovely, spacious and spotlessly clean, the food and... More

Thoroughly enjoyed our stay at the Armada. The staff were friendly and helpful, the hotel reception is adorned with the ships of the Armada and the walls tell the story of its demise. The food was great, we eat at the bar which has a great menu and atmosphere. I had the burger and I have to say it's the... More

Stayed at the Armada for recent wedding, the selection of food started as we entered the door, the canopies served by friendly staff were different and plentiful. We were entertained by a traditional group before moving to the function room. On arriving there the service was second to none, with second helpings of food and wine on offer if required.(no thanks must leave... More
