we came here for a night after a day surfing in nearby lahinch. We were given a complimentary upgrade to a lovely room with two full walls of sea views and spa bath. It had obviously been recently re-furbished (some of the hotel was still in the process). All the staff were super friendly and we had a really good... More

Stayed here for one night to celebrate a birthday. Our room was clean, comfortable & with stunning sea views. Instead of the usual complimentary macaroons/cupcakes & welcome note we have found awaiting us when staying in other less expensive hotels, here we found a bag of seaweed bath stuff with a note telling us that if we used it it... We stayed at this hotel for a family 50th birthday party recently and the food and service were second to none. We had a room with a sea view which was very nice, but we heard that the larger corner rooms were fabulous, so next time we will upgrade to a bigger room with a fabulous sea view!! The staff... More

Really enjoyed our stay. The staff were lovely and food was delicious. Great service. Room was fab and we were offered a late check out which was great. The receptionist by the name of Madigan (can't remember her first name) was excellent at her job and made us feel so so welcome. A great night spent in the Armada.

We are repeat customers to the wonderful armada. We visited recently and enjoyed the most wonderful stay after an unfortunate start. The seaview room which we had arranged to stay in would have more adequately been described as a carpark view. After being initially disappointed with the room as mentioned, we decided to upgrade to the tranquility suite. It simply... More

Stayed at the Armada last October. Our room was over the Function Room where a wedding reception was taking place. Following a complaint we were moved to a less noisy room and got some sleep. When I discussed the matter with the accomodation manager at checkout she was very sympathetic and offered us a complementary 2 night stay with an... More

We stayed here for two nights in the tranquility suite. The room was amazing with huge windows to view the beach and sea from bed and also the bath! The location is nice, not too far a drive from the burren, cliffs of moher or ailwee caves! The staff were very friendly and helpful. Breakfast was a very nice buffet... More

My wife and I have stayed here a couple of times as we really like the general area. Hotel is in a great location on the beach. Sea view rooms have a great view but other rooms are quite mixed in size and quality. Some of these have terrible views. Staff were very friendly. Breakfast and dinner were very good.... More
