Stayed here at a wedding recently. The wedding was fantastic - food, service etc could not be faulted. However, the hotel rooms are small, stuffy with plaster board walls and no air conditioning. Every sound could be heard. No sleep for two nights! The bed may as well have been in the corridor. On check out the lady at the... More

The location was central for day trips. We ate several meals here, at each of the restaurants and the pub. Everything was delicious. The pub is very cozy and had great music each night. The dining rooms each had fabulous views and we had a buffet one morning that was an excellent price for the generous portions of food.

We got Married on the 23rd of August 2014 in the Armada. From the day we book the staff have been fantastic. The Wedding coordinators Marita and Susie are fantastic and really make everything run smoothly Marita looked after us on the day and couldnt have done more for us she really made us feel very welcome and at ease.... We stayed at the armada for one night last weekend . This hotel has an amazing location & downstairs in the hotel was very nice. We were at a wedding & it was really nice to be able to go outside & have such amazing views. The function room was the perfect size for the wedding & we can't fault... More

Our daughter got married last friday in the Armada and we had 4 memorable nights in the hotel (our 2nd visit to this hotel). The word excellent does not do justice to the hotel. The location is breathtaking, with the sound of the waves breaking in the background and the sun glistening from almost every angle. The staff are exceptional,... More

The rooms were very comfortable. I loved the pillows which is a strange thing to say bit I've stayed in so many hotels with wafer thin pillows. The showers nice and strong as well. As I have hardly any hair left I can't remark for it, but my girlfriend was very impressed with the high quality hair dryer which is... More

We stayed for 3 nights mid week. From the minute we checked in with Teresa (who we found to be so nice and nothing was too much trouble) to the minute we checked out the staff were so friendly, helpful and obliging. Our room was spacious, quiet and comfortable. Breakfast was lovely, everything we needed or wanted was there. We... More

What really struck me is how friendly and professional the members of staff are at the Armada. They work hard for customers and keep smiley and under control when things get very busy. I was very touched by their kindness. Our car broke down and many members of staff - including Jerry who even gave us a lift - kindly... More

Fantastic location, very friendly and helpful staff, rooms have heating but no air-con so was very stuffy in August, bathroom uncomfortable to use, everything squeezed onto the one wall leaving very little room to manoeuvre, wc inches from wall and shower curtain sticks to you as you use shower. great breakfast selection but coffee/tea is served at your table which... This was a real find. We stayed here for a few nights during a week's holiday on the west coast. We arrived to a fabulous greeting on reception with lots of help w.r.t things to do in the area etc. The room we had was overlooking the ocean and it was really fabulous - spacious, great bathroom, and what a...
