All the previous reviews are completely accurate. We stayed in Suite 1 on a Saturday night with our almost 2 year old. The set up here was perfect for us. The room was massive and our little boy loved exploring it. There was a little area behind our bed to place the travel cot. An executive suite would probably be... More

We stayed for two nights with our daughter, and had a blast.. The only downside was the weather but that's what you have to plan for when you vacation at home. The suite was large, well furnished, with good facilities. It's very close to the beach and some great walks. There's loads to do and see within a 30 minute... More

Everything about the lodge and restaurant was perfect, we stayed in an awful hotel for two nights before we got to Spanish point, and when we walked in the door of the lodge, it looked like heaven, the lodge was beautifully decorated, furniture , massive king bed, bathroom , carpets, all of such high quality and every bit comfortable, breakfast... This was the jewel in the crown for us on our Wild Atlantic Way trip. The lodge was elegant, plush, roomy and well equipped, top class furnishings and we loved it and will definitely go back for longer next time! Had our evening meal in the outstanding and well deserved Michelin star restaurant. Food was fantastic and can be highly... More

While I haven't stayed here i have heard the rooms are great. I have dined at the restaurant twice and its fabulous great food and the staff were really lovely. We had a tasting menu the first time and everything was delicious. Was part of a large group the second time and everything still went smoothly and tasted really good.... More

This is a terrific lodge- in a spectacular location, along the water. The rooms are beautifully set up, including a kitchenette and full breakfast with juice, milk, cereals, breads, yogurt, fruit, coffee, tea. The Restaurant offered delicious entrees, served very elegantly. This place defines hospitality!

We had a terrific stay at Red Cliff and just wish it had been longer! The restaurant is outstanding and the rooms elegant and well-appointed. We had an impromptu picnic on the beach as well. John O'Meara was an efficient and attentive host. This is the place to stay in Spanish Point.

We stayed 5 days here for golfing at Lahinch, Donbeg and Kilkee. It is perfectly situated 15 to 30 minutes from all the courses. Charming suite with super comfortable king size bed, living room with couch, chair and sitting area for breakfast. Small kitchenette with microwave, refrigerator, espresso machine, and cooktop. They provide bread, butter, cereals, milk orange juice and... More

We only have good things to say about this small hotel. We stayed in a lovely suite overlooking the ocean. It was spotlessly clean and beautifully decorated. The owners were gracious and made us feel welcome. While they don't serve breakfast, there was a fresh loaf of bread, muffins, cereals, yogurt, and coffee and tea for the morning. Sadly we... More

My wife and I go married at the Red Cliff Lodge in July 2014. We do not live in Ireland so planning an Irish wedding from Australia was always going to be different. From the first time we contacted John at the Red Cliff lodge we got a good feeling about the venue. John was so helpful and nothing was... More
