Me and my boyfriend have just returned from a one night stay in this hotel. We both really enjoyed our stay. We were very impressed by the check in because it was different and very welcoming. We had a couple of drinks in the bar while we watched the gaa and there was a great buzz! We wanted to eat... More

We spent two nights at Fota Island resort as part of our honeymoon. It came highly recommended for couples traveling and looking for romance. Well romance was hard to find amid the screaming children all over the resort. My husband even had a young girl run into him in the hallway as she was running about and no parent in... More

We spent a week in a three-bed courseside lodge. The house itself was really fabulous, very modern, tastefully decorated and had pretty much everything we could think of or need. We didn't realise the rooms were all doubles when we booked so rather than have two of the children share a bed the hotel rallied around and provided us with... More

My husband, daughter and I spent 2 nights here earlier this week. From checkin to checkout it was faultless. Our little girl is 11 months old and it was our first trip away with her, we booked the babysitting service for Monday evening, a lady called Joan arrived to the room to our unsettled baba and took her into her... I booked this hotel to celebrate my second wedding anniversary with the expectation that it would be a relaxing and special experience. Unfortunately this did not prove to be the case for us. I would concur with the many other reviews who state that there are wonderful grounds and facilities at Fota .We were lucky enough to stay in the... More

This Hotel needs some serious overhauling. From Staff with bad attitudes to dated and dark decor, it is mess. The rooms are dark and badly laid out. Storage space is limited with doors opening out into the room effectively trapping you. The creaking floorboards combined with a serious lack of storage for anything except your overnight stay. In order to... More
