We stayed for a week in a two bedroomed course side lodge. It was very spacious and so well eqipped. the kitchen was amazing with dish washer, washing machine wonderful cooker, microwave etc. there was a toilet and utility downstairs. Outside there was a modern table with four chairs which was quite private. Television has all channels including sky etc... More

i liked the hotel and most of the staff were nice. however it was the spa area that cause me great concern. firstly there are some rude staff there, one man in particular, wish i had his name but i dont. also i find the pool hours for children insane. firstly if i bring a 17 year old why should... Stayed here last week (4 adults). Advertised as a five star but this is a 3/4 star hotel at best. Very much a hotel in transformation. In the Hydro pool they must have ran out of money to finish painting the ceiling. Looks very poor. Rooms are very tired and single beds are very small. There is no flair to... More

Stayed in this Hotel in June & will not return. stayed in Deluxe room with Balcony. A few issues we had: For a 5 star Hotel, room was very basic & small (only exception was the lovely Bathroom) apart from the cracked tile! Tv not working in room (repaired some time later) Not enough Toiletries left & had to get... More

Fota is just fabulous. It has everything you could want from a 5 star hotel and more. Set in beautiful grounds which you can stroll around at your ease. The bar and restaurant are both lovely, so relaxing. Breakfast, lunch and dinner are all fabulous and if you want a real treat try the afternoon tea, you won't be disappointed.... More

We stayed for two nights in mid-July, for a wedding, and although more expensive than I would usually choose to pay, it was certainly worth the money. The rooms were extremely spacious and comfortable and the bathroom was luxurious and fully equipped. The view over the gardens was easy on the eye and the tea/coffee selection was extensive. Breakfast was... More

The resort is about 30 mins drive from Patrick Quay. As you enter the resort and drive in through a small woody area and suddenly there is the resort standing in front of you surrounded by lush greenery. The room is spacious and well equipped. The dining area is adequate and the food is a mix of international and Irish... More

Went to Fota Hotel bar/restaurant for lunch. Very disappointing. The waitress serving us was not trained properly. She was a young girl but it was so obvious she was out of her depth. I had to ask for my drink about three times and I asked for water but again had to remind her. My lunch was ok i.e a... More
