Spacious room with excellent bathroom. Expensive breakfast buffet. Wifi free in room, but no wifi available in arrival area of the hotel. We had to wait there for a while, but they said there is no wifi available...... Unfriendly staff at reception desk and at lobby cafe. Good swimmingpool on top floor with heated water.

Decided to take a spur of the moment trip from HK to Macau. Came across the Rio Hotel & Casino and booked it online while we were on the ferry. There were no surprises when we showed up, the had our booking ready for us upon arrival. The hotel is very clean, no bad "old smoker" smell. We stayed in... More

Spacious room to a reasonable price. Pretty fancy..both bathtub and big shower. It smelled really good everywhere in the hotel. like some sort of perfume. Fast check in, we got our room 1 hour before the check in time. Nice location to in the heart of Macao. Wifi on the room.

I have been going to the Rio Hotel since it first opened and it's still good and getting better. The rooms are being renovated and I stayed on the 8th floor which is non smoking! A definite must in China, the Rooms spotless and staff very helpful. Breakfast is both western and Chinese, but choice is pretty good. The reception... More

Hotel was spacious and clean and of a high standard, however, service wasn't the best and there seemed to be a reluctance by the staff anytime anything was needed. The spa was nice and I enjoyed a good couple of hours in there as for the rest of the amenities was food wasn't great and the casino was one of... More

We arrived very late in the night and thankfully, check-in was smooth and efficient. The room was big and comfortable but unfortunately, it was a smoking room. As I was suffering from a throat infection before I left home & had barely recovered my voice, the smokey room aggravated my throat and I was coughing the whole night. The next... More

Stayed a couple of times. Location wise there is nothing to complain about. Rio is centrally located in the heart of Macau. Although it is not a branded hotel, but it is very well managed. The service was even better than some of the so called branded ones. Spacious rooms with modern decorations, separated bath and shower, comfy bedding and... More

Stayed for 3 nights. The first two nights were organized by company (with breakfast). Stayed there for a third year (organized by company). This time the 3rd night was of own accord costed me more than a thousand MOP (without breakfast). The staff at the reception are very efficient and helpful. Room is big. Despite prior request and assigned to... More

This hotel is centrally located in Macau and is pretty close to the ferry terminal. The rooms and bathroom are spacious and very modern. One thing which we found weird was that they don't provide free sugar for making tea inside the room, except for a couple a sachets for the entire duration of stay. The casino is nice but... More

The Deluxe double room I stayed was great! The shower and bath tab are separated in the bathroom which amazed me a lot. The room is spacious and clean. I was lucky to get some discount on this room. Will stay here again next time.
