We arrive at the ferry station and took the free bus to the hotel where early check in was given without hesitation. We were also given coupons for free drinks in the coffee shop and a discount in the restaurant. The lobby is attractive and has access to the casino if you are so inclined. There are six elevators so... More

I suppose it is one among the best hotels in Macau. A very good and luxurious hotel with casino inside. It is at an excellent location with the ferry terminal hardly 5 minutes away by taxi. All other tourist points and happening places are nearby. The casino area 'Strip' is also 15-20 minutes away by taxi. Rooms are very spacious... More

Clean and spacious room and easy to get around the city and attractions from this location. There is a bus stop right outside the entrance and convenient stores are just walking distance. Wish the bed and pillows are more comfortable though, my partner and I woke up with sore shoulders most of the nights.

Spacious rooms, modern bath with bath tub and shower. Rooms furtinute okay, not too modern. Nice pool on top but Gym is a joke, super small and almost all cardio equipment broken. Casino not so spectacular and no shuttle to the other casinos, only to Ferry terminal and that also only from 11 am so if you want to catch... More

The hotel is clean, big and comfortable. Its among the cheapest accommodation that you can find in Macau and I must stay that it's beyond my expectations. The staff is friendly, the room is clean and its big enough to even accommodate 6 person in their standard room! I booked 2 single beds and the bed is so big that... More

Good for hotel stay but not for casino. Shuttle bus service to jetty is free of charge, regular and punctual. Hotel is located in just 5 minutes drive from jetty. Surrounded with restaurants and shops. Hotel price is reasonable and value for money with spacious and clean room, twin beds are in queen sized beds. Facilities are well maintained.

Sub par hotel, would stay somewhere else next time. Pros - Large rooms - Shuttle to ferry terminal - Walkable to the major casinos Cons - uncomfortable bed - view was into peoples apartments next door - No hotel lobby - poor wi-fi - shower was slow to drain - despite the size, the room was rather sparse. No table,... More

Well, i was not expecting much when I checked in. Macau hotels are essentially just places people go to sleep after a day at the casino. The Rio has its own gaming floors, but has no slot machines. The room itself was sizeable, but the room i got on the 6th floor reeked of stale smoke, despite the numerous "No... More

The Rio is old, unfriendly and not focused on westerners. The rooms were clean well presented and a generous size by Asian standards. But the quality was low, hard mattress, horrible pillows and cheap linen... remember 200 plus a night!!!! Location in in the business district and walking distance to the Hong Kong Macau ferry. There is not a lot... More

Only good thing was the breakfast buffet. A good selection of choices and you can eat as much as you like. Sadly, unhelpful and unfriendly staff. Hotel is a long way from the old town and it's easy to get lost if you walk. Taxis are metered though and regular. There is a shuttle bus to the ferry. Website is... More
