I booked here for a last minute break from Hon Kong and was pleasantly surprised. Despite being adjacent to the garish Babylon Casino, the Rocks is quiet and strangely charming ( the bedroom, one of the most spacious I've ever stayed in, had a decor part French Provincial, part Edwardian!) it is pretty central and taxis and buses are on... The hotel is in a great locationwith great day and night view. It's quiet and pretty, so every time visit Macou I always choose it, But the last time stay here, When I had my breakfast with nice view in the garden, there are noisy tourists from China who doesn't live here, talking highly voice and p in front of... This hotel is located in Fisherman's Wharf which you need to take free shuttle bus to Gold Sand and walk to it. not too far but if you are carrying too many stuffs, it could be a bit difficult. The hotel seemed very quiet when we arrived. The vitoria style design of the hotel was really nice and impressive. So... More

Stayed just one night at The Rocks Macau, but my second or third stay over the past few years. Really just wanted a quiet night away. The Rocks obliged! It's located away from the nightlife of Macau and while there are casinos nearby, the room had a view out to the harbour and was relaxing, save for the occasional helicopter... More

I have stayed in The Rocks Hotel Macau in March 2012. I was travelling in business and stayed for five nights. The hotel is decorated following a Chinese interpretation of the Victorian style... Be prepared for lots of marble, artificially aged dark woods and gold painted furniture. As expected, the end result lacks authenticity and the whole hotel experience conveys... More

Staying at the Rocks is a bit like being in Disneyland but it is a poor attempt at Victoriana. Also it is located in Fisherman's Wharf which is rapidly turning into a ghost town in Macau. The room was ok,nothing special, and there was a smell of cigarette smoke through the whole building. I only stayed one night but I... More

I stayed at the Rocks Hotel in Macau for three nights and enjoyed my stay. The hotel is located at the end of the fisherman's wharf development in Macau, which doesn't seem to have been a great success as lots of the units are empty, and there only ever seems to be a handful of people strolling round it. However... More

I have just stayed for a night at the Rocks hotel and arrived already a bit late for a meeting. The staff at the hotel was extremely helpful, calling a taxi while I went upstairs to the room, connected the computer, checked the e-mail, and returned back to get the taxi. This took no more than 5 to 10 minutes.... More

Great boutique hotel - excellent rooms. great interiors, furniture n fittings in the room - very helpful staff. We were trying to get tickets to the House of Dancing Water but found that it was sold out. The concierge / reception staff went out of their way to help source tickets from some travel agents who had a couple of... More

We stayed at The Rocks when visiting relatives in Macau. The whole hotel is immaculate and they could not have been more helpful. The rooms are lovely and overlook the lagoon where the ferries come and go to Hong Kong. There are unbelievable sky lanes taking tourists from the airport, ferry port to the various islands which make up Macau.... More
