It was our first time checking in in this hotel. The facade is very beautiful and elegant. The lobby was crowded. Our room was big but looks average. It has its own living room and wifi was free. The bathroom was okay. Our view was the Macau Tower. The package we booked included a buffet breakfast. I think they can... More

The rooms were very big. I was given free upgrade for bigger rooms. Breakfast was good with many varieties. Staff were helpful. This was the only hotel where in, a guest service personnel accompanied me till the room. As mentioned by others, don't get confused by another hotel named "Hotel Emperor".

Beautiful room, bed, bathroom, space; noisy from road even on 17th floor, free wifi which is what it is worth as it is hopelessly slow. Good room service, lovely foyer; but swarms of non-residents (like most hotels here I guess) which spoils the atmosphere. This should not happen in a pricey hotel but I guess they just want to make... More

Ignore the star ratings for hotels in tourist guides because the first thing you realise is that they seriously do not reflect reality. Some 5 stars are not worth the money and some 3 stars are deserving of higher ranking. This hotel has nicely appointed and large clean rooms. Works well for the business traveller.

1) very good locations, close to main attractions e.g. Famous Portuguese tart shop 2) shuttle van and shuttle bus are provided ( ferry terminal or airport) 3) fast check-in 4) quite comfortable room with the nice sofa and the bigger space, but it looks tired => it's time to renovate Things to improve 1) Internet connection..the speed is quite slow... We loved the room, great variety of food and friendly staff at The Grand Emperor Hotel. The lobby is stunning with tastey cakes, fresh juices and wine selections. The seafood dinner is amazing! We loved the waiters at breakfast who are very efficient and there for your every need including coffee top ups.

Why choose this hotel: - Location. Only a few blocks away from Senando Square and Wynn. Lisboa, etc. I am was with my folks so this being in a central location was great when they need to rest mid-morning after strolls. - I actually got a pretty good deal for three persons including breakfast - I like watching the 'Changing... Having a name such as Grand Emperor, i wasn't expecting a "British Theme", I'd expect more of a China Emperor kind of theme, I just found the decoration very tacky. The guards, the painting of, who i assumed would be Queen Elizabeth, those gold bars for show under the floor? I wen to the Royale Kitchen for a lunch buffet,... More

Loved the convenient location. Minutes to Ruins of St Paul's, Senado Square and Margaret's Cafe e Nata. Spacious nonsmoking room. Breakfast with a good variety of choice. Efficient and helpful staff had eased our doubts during the stay. Specially thank to Kyseniya Wong, Jenny Zhao and Nicole Feng who had made our 20th anniversary a memorable one.

One of the nicer charming hotels around. It's uncommon from the US based hotels closeby A great entrance very good concierge very spacious rooms Every room gets free 3 drinks in the room We managed to get free breakfast each day. VERY GOOD buffet dinner many western dishes. Everything is closeby and within walking distance. Casino is small and geared... More
