Having booked a superior double room for two nights on Christmas and Boxing day, on arrival I was told they only had one with single beds available and blamed me for not asking for a double bed. I am travelling with my wife and booked a double room - surely you would expect a double bed. After alot of complaing... More

Not sure where to start. There is often 1 person working reception for late night and early morning. The english comprehension is very low with most staff. Bell staff being the worst. As stated, Weather is beautiful and the pool is out of service. NICE. the room, situated on the 17th floor, was dated, with very thin walls. We were... More

This is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in based on price to quality. If you pay anymore than £50 stay somewhere else. The first impression is the smell of damp as you walk in the lobby. Then you are greeted by someone who looks like their pants are stuck up their bottom. Anything you ask for is too... More

Myself and my sister booked Best Western as we were looking for a budget hotel in Macau as online reviews were acceptable for a night's stay. I am generally not a fussy person with hotels, as long as they are clean it is ok. This place was WRONG at all levels. We had booked it through booking.com and had read... More

Best Western Hotel Taipa On the surface, this hotel appeared acceptable. Except when it came time to sleep. The mattress was extremely hard and uncomfortable. Upon further inspection, there was NO mattress at all, it was just the hard box spring!!! I guess (please, my OWN opinion) when the hotel was turned over to Chinese management, and the mattresses started... More

I needed somewhere to stay for only 2 nights and this fitted the bill. Good location. The pool is out of service, the room was dirty all the time. Too much silicone on the bathroom sittings and the air conditioning was dripping. I did report this to reception, who said they'd get someone to look at it. Still dropped, just... More

The Hotel is located in Taipa which is outside mainland Macau. The checkin process was easy. The rooms and bath looked quite old, but neat and well maintained. The mattress were not so soft though. Wifi is available only in the lobby and at times the lobby is very busy and noisy. There was not good view from the room... More

In terms of price/quality ratio this is probably the worst experience of my life. The room - big, granted - was not very clean, cold (not heater in Macao apparently), the bed was so uncomfortable, we had terrible sleeping and no wifi available in the room. I repeat: in 2013, big brand hotel, and no wifi available in the room.... More
