Stayed in this hotel with fds last year. We wanted to have a night out in Macau around the City of Dreams area. Since we would be out most of the time, we choose this hotel for bag drop / quick rest. Location - it is good, walk distance to happenings and lots of food places around. Room - it... More

This hotel is located in Taipa island, southern part of old city Macau. Quite easy to reached from Macau International Airport, using taxi. I asked whether public bus or shuttle bus was available. The people there adviced me (all 5 people in my group) to take a taxi. But I didn’t see any public bus nearby. Only chartered bus or... More

We stayed here for 2 nights because it was cheap and conveniently located. The non-smoking room reeked of either cigarette smoke or mold. The mattress felt like a fabric-covered board. There was a burn mark on the carpet in the shape of an iron. Despite my low expectations, I was disappointed.

During check in, they gave us rooms on the smoking floor, because we forgot to specify non-smoking during reservation. We asked them to change, but they said they only had smoking left. The rooms are dark, and luckily the room i was in did not smell too strongly of smoke, however the two other rooms our group had were very... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. It is a horrible hotel. They score low on all points - Room - The beds are very very hard, it appears like they do not have mattress. We couldn't get a proper sleep. Bathrooms are tiny, woodwork is coming out at few places. Lighting not enough. Swimming pool is closed until Summers, Restaurant... More

Stayed one night at Best Western Taipa. Room was big to accomodate 5-6 persons but I found it to be in a down-trodden state. Not too much lighting and beds weren't too comfortable. No Wi-Fi in the room and wi-fi reception in the lobby was spotty at best. Cigarette smell was evident in the lobby and even my room which... More

Spacious, dark, dirty room. Poor breakfast. They don't give you chopstick and spoon to eat your breakfast. They just provide fork. The wifi signal doesn't work even at the lobby! They only provide 3 small lifts for hundreds of hotel guests. You can imagine how the queue at the breakfast hour. But they provide one way shuttle bus to Venetian... More

The very first thing you thought when you set your step in this hotel was " what was that funky smell ?" The hotel itself got a quite bad smell, it was like heavy dust+old and wet furniture+tons cigarette at once. And you can see lots Mainlanders gathering at the lobby and talking to each other loudly. The front desk... More
