These days, Macao had been know for their gambling and entertainments... where the more interesting culture and arts seems forgotten. This is a hidden jewel, Mong-Ha is not an average hotel, it's an educational hotel for the students from Macao tourist academy, government property. Although, not at the most common areas in Macao peninsular or Cotai area, it offers an... More

The place to stay in Macau: central but on top of a hill in a quiet environment, very nice classical Macanese design with many places to relax, excellent service and a good cause: students learn here hotel management and then will serve in the best hotels

I stayed here with a friend for 2 nights because Trip Advisor recommended it as I have to agree. This hotel is awesome, the service is great, the price per night is much cheaper then the casinos and it is located in the heart of Macau. This hotel is about a 20 minute taxi ride from the ferry pier but,... More

A really nice peaceful hotel located on top of a small hill, away from the hustle and bustle of the gambling city. Personally, I really love this hotel, its artistic building and rooms with slight history. The spacious room with balcony and all that you can ask from a good hotel. The young and helpful receptionists whom are actually tourism... More

We stayed there for 2 nights in March and based on reviews on Trip Advisor we were lucky enough to get the bookings. We stayed in the luxury room for one night but had to move to standard room on the 2nd night and loved both rooms however the luxury room is certainly the one to go for although they... More

The earnest students set the tone for this unique hotel. They are helpful and cheerful. The building and rooms are beautiful, decorated with Portuguese tiles and carved woods, and the room was supremely comfortable. The place is quiet, a welcome retreat from the hustle and bustle of Macao. This place is hugely popular and small. Early reservations are a must.... More

I was a little cautious about Macao, expecting high rise and casinos, but it is mostly a weird combination of China and colonial Portugal ( though the English were here too). Stay in this cosy pousada with pretty courtyards and blue and white tiles, staffed mostly by young trainees. Good food, quiet rooms, next to the park on top of... More

Our family of five loved our stay here. The highlights from our stay are: - the service: the hotel staff are polite, friendly, professional. We interacted mainly with Louey and Esther and they were wonderful. - very comfortable, safe, clean and pleasant hotel surroundings - the rooms were stayed in were spotless, comfortable, spacious and well furnished. Our rooms had... More

We stayed for 3 nights. The hotel was beautiful and clean. All the staff were most friendly and helpful. Breakfast was great. The surrounding environment were peaceful and away from the hustle and bustle of the city centre but yet only a 10 minutes taxi ride away.

The hotel is in the midst of buildings but it has a nice vantage on a hill. We underestimated how far and steep the hill was when we walked up with our luggages. We highly recommend to take a taxi to the hotel if you have heavy luggages. The hotel has an historic atmosphere with interesting layout, lovely Portuguese hand-painted... More
