Lovely property demonstrating Macau s Portuguese heritage Beautiful location on the hills away from casino glitter Run as training hotel for tourism hotel and lots of enthusiastic students around Nice rooms and environmental friendly You feel at Macau in posada and there is a sense of nostalgia Training restaurant next door is also excellent and. Very good value for money

We stayed here for two nights and loved it. The staff are lovely and very efficient. Our room was large and beautifully furnished. Breakfast superb! It is a unique little hotel on a hill, away from the tourist areas but near a park and fort. Each time we visit Macau we try and stay in a different part of the... More

We love staying at the Pousada da Mong Ha! The staff are super friendly, and really helpful. We like the location a little north of the centre and adjacent to a little park (as a consequence very quiet). The hotel is in a nice old building and has character. OK, so the rooms are a little old-fashioned (and can occasionally... More

I was back again at the Pousada over the New Year. Had a bigger room and it's worth the price. Spacious bedroom, bathroom and entrance area. I agree with the other reviews about the superb service of the staff and the amazing cleanliness of the rooms and property. Every time my wife and I walks into the reception area, we... More

We spent a night here and enjoyed the stay very much. The hotel is a unique property operated by the Macau's Institute for Tourism Studies for training up their studens. If you don't know about this, you'd think you are in one of the top class hide-away resorts that gives you the most rustic pleasures. Staff members are warm and... More

I have stayed here before and have been very pleased with both hotel and staff. This time we had two rooms, one suite wich were very good and room 109 wich had a terrible smell of mould. Unfortenately the hotel was fully booked, so there was no chance to change rooms. Yhe room was also on groundlevel so the terracedoor... More

We recently enjoyed a three night stay at the Pousada de Mong Ha in Macau. This unique property (established in 1995) offers students of Macau's Institute for Tourism Studies the chance to learn their professional skills in a real world environment. The result is a combination of terrific traditional Portuguese decor, beautifully appointed rooms and suites, as well as hotel... More

Absolutely nothing to complain about here. Service is top notch and rooms (ours was the standard room, number 103) are well kept, but rates (holiday, weekend, or regular) are far cheaper than most hotels'. The young staff are very professional and helpful, and they're one of the best, if not the best, thing about the place. Minibar items are free... More

One of the loveliest places I have stayed in so far. The hotel is not one of these high multi-storey buildings but a small and welcoming place. It is a tiny little bit aside the main attractions, but nearly everything is in walking distance (apart from the ferry pier maybe). In general I had the impression that it is a... More

An atmospheric hotel maintained in Portuguese colonial style, with much attention to detail. The building itself looks historic. Located on the IFT campus, in a quiet slightly uphill location, some 3 km away from the downtown (which is reachable by #5 bus, but in the opposite direction the hotel is less accessible), or a 7-minute walk plus two bus stops...
