We stayed there for 5 nights in Feb 2014. The double room was big enough for 3 people and the beds were comfortable for 2 ppl each. Clean and good service. Absolutely great for its price! Do not miss the restaurant (not the seafood restaurant on the ground floor, but the one upstairs), all 3 restaurants there have more or... More

I was really turned off when arriving and checking in to the hotel. Location maybe near to some of the Macau attractions but for me it did not really help since the surroundings was not really 'classy'. The major disappointment was that the room needed upgrading so badly. It looks as if nobody has been taking care of the place... More

Don't be fooled by the nice lobby pic. The rooms were a huge disappointment. The carpet was stained and likely hadn't been changed in 20 years. The rooms may be non-smoking now but because the furnishings are decades old it smelled like it had been smoked in the day before. Towels were paper thin and too small to wrap around... More

The hotel is the cheapest in this area where in front of star world hotel. The family room is bumig and we have free buffet breakfast for 4. It is walking distance to the other attractions. The staffs are helpful and know to speak in English. It has free wifi. Near the convient store. Lack of this hotel is a... More

First tip for Macau, don't leave booking your hotel until the day you are travelling there, especially if it's a Saturday. We had to change business plans at short notice, go there a day earlier than planned and trying to find a reasonably priced room rate was tough work. The hotels in Macau are huge, with many having in excess... More

Close to everything but the hotel is small and old. We booked by mistake and thought it's the Grand Emperor hotel as the price during new year so high already. Then we moved to Sheraton at the opposite island which we impressed more.

For the price, the Emperor is a good value. It lacks a swimming pool which was a disappointment. We take frequent trips to Vegas, so Macau in general was a bit of a let down. There is no strip in Macau but the location of the Emperor is about as good as you'll get. It's an older luxury hotel, so... More

This is a hotel where you can get 'nickled and dimed'. Be sure to check out their cancellation policy and check-out polivies as they have strict policies regarding this. Rooms are spacious and roomy but the bathroom was a bit disappointing as there was rust at the hand rails. The room was not made up properly as we found a... More

Room: Room is spacious and clean. Bathroom is clean & equipped with bath tub. Glass with blinds between bathroom and bedroom helps to create a romantic atmosphere. There is free wifi in room and lobby too. Service: Good and friendly. However, other tourists tend to cut into the queue and hotel staff attend to them first. Bell boy is friendly... More
