Shuttle service was convenient, however i feel that they should have informed us about the pickup point from the ferry station. Room service and Housekeeping staff was good and courteous. The swimming pool was nice and the changing room was well kept. Overall a good experience. Just a little issue with the wifi.

We really enjoyed our stay here. This hotel was basically everything we looked for in a hotel - nice room facility, good service and great location. Everything was very clean and the room was neat, we didn't have a single problem with the room other than that it was really easy to hear the people in the rooms next to... More

There is shuttle bus for this hotel from the Macau Ferry Terminal. There is a pool and gym in the hotel , you can enjoy a light exercise. If you're not going to the casino , you can spend quiet at the hotel.

Let me tell you a tale of two hotels in Macao. I spent just two nights in this old colonial relic, and wish I had time for at least a few more. Given my experience here, if I ever return, I will stay at the Hotel Royal. On the first night I stayed in the Sheraton in Cotai: a newer... More

The hotel was nicely and clean. Personally like the bathroom cause it's big and clean. I booked a twin room with extra bed so I got a corner room. Big room, comfy and good view. Just one thing I was quite disappointed is their transportation information given. I reached airport at 1030am, thought that I could catch the 11am shuttle... More

We took two rooms here due to our flight was canceled from Macau to Shanghai when a typhoon hit Shanghai. We could not extend our stay at the Sheraton, which was much better than Royal. Positives: Very friendly staff at the front desk and bell desk; close to some touristy attractions (not important if you are on a business trip);... More

The bathroom was also well maintained.he area is quiet and residential, with a nice walk up to Guia Fortress. The room was comfortable and relaxing. Breakfast was good. The shuttle service is available but not very frequent. There are some restaurants and... More

Great location and a nice clean spacious room. Internet only worked properly in the lobby. The staff was really nice and spoke english. Unfortunately no one one speaks Portuguese anymore. We really enjoyed our stay since it was reasonably priced even though I think breakfast should have been part of the deal.

Macau room rate is really high, hotel royal is at reasonable price and it claims to be 4 star. When check in, the staff are really nice and helpful. To be frank, it is a small hotel, the room is at gd condition and cleaniness is good. We also went swim, the pool is small but it is already good... More

Stayed about a week in this hotel. Room is a bit small and antiquated but clean and comfortable. Location is close to local eateries and other attractions. Fado the hotel restaurant serves nice Portuguese food.
