The hotel night cost approximately 150 euros, which is quite much. The hotel was really nice and in an ok location, not maybe still the best. It was way too hard to get a taxi from the hotel. The staff was really helpful though. The beds were really comfortable, and that was maybe the best thing in this hotel! But... More

It was our first trip to Macau and we chose this hotel for its location. The facilities were okay yet the menu variety should be improved. However, we can never forget the hospitality and sincerity shown by (almost) all staff. On our last day, we went to Venetian Macau before checking out from the hotel. When we returned, we accidentally... More

What we liked: The hotel location is great, everything can be reached by foot. Our room (15F) was quite small (especially the bathroom) but the decoration seemed not too old. We had two windows. What we disliked: - The view: There was a big construction site just outside the window - The breakfast: Was not included, we paid MOP 140... More

Stayed for two nights with family and did not face any problem. I was a bit worried because of many suggestions to stay at the Venetian but all of them melt when I reached here. The old city attractions are all nearby and it's nice to see here Macau as a city. The cotai strip is although far of but... More

In a hilly neighborhood overlooking Vasco de Gama Square, this is a nice, quiet hotel which can be a great base for walking tours. You're already half way up the Guia Fortress hill! Our room was clean, staff was very polite and helpful. The breakfast buffet was fair, could have used more fruit and perhaps pancakes. Taxis can be a... More

The check in time is officially 3pm. I'm very glad the counter staff is so flexible to find a room for me at 12pm. The room is clean and well-furnished. The hotel is near the Senado Square and St Paul Ruins and food. Local cuisine is readily available. I would come here again next time.

As many reviewers pointed out, the Hotel is not at the most glamorous part of the city. It is in a peaceful location and with many small shops, cafes and restaurants around. Those who like Chinese sweet soups must not miss the food stall outside the market. If you read the map carefully and find the right routes, going to... More

Stayed here on my first night in Macau, i would had stayed here longer but the price was too much for me (but still cheap for 5 star) The cab found it from Macau Airport easy enough, though its location is nit really exactly really where u want to be. There are better alternatives closer to the temples and the... More

I like the hotel very much. Especially after been to the loud, packed, over-the-top parts of Macau. The area is quiet and residential, with a nice walk up to Guia Fortress and lighthouse. The Royal Macau Hotel is within easy access. Don't expect super glamour but it's clean, serene, efficient, and compact. Staff is efficient and helpful. Good value for... More

We stayed 2 nights in this hotel. Upon arrival at the macau aiport we were not able to catch the last free shuttle going to the hotel so we just rode a taxi cab. We paid 80 HKd. The hotel was just a few minutes from the airport. At the lobby we were welcome by the bell boy who happed... More
