Been wanting to write a review but keep forgetting/ putting off...stayed with my mom in Sintra for 2 days during Chinese New Year 2008. Very convenient as shops and stores were within walking distance. There was a crazy midnight sale everywhere on Chinese New Year eve at senodo square ( many shops were open). So we ate & shop, walk... more

Me and my son stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Its was really a great stay. Centrally located. Walking distance to various places of interest like San Ma Lo, Grand Lisboa and various big time Casinos. Breakfast is good. They also have a shuttle to Hongkong Ferry terminal which is a walking distance to Fishermans wharf. I'd surely be... more

Some people suggested we stay nearer the Fisherman's Wharf to be closer to restaurants but my group wanted to be near Senado Square. Hotel Sintra was a good jump-off point for our purposes, we were less than a 10-minute walk away from Senado Square and walking distance to many of the old tourist spots we were interested in (ruins, churches,... more

We stayed 10 nights and paid around $AU $100/night for this 3 star hotel. Hotels seem to be expensive in Macau, esp compared to HK. We didn't expect much, but they had a shuttle pick up from the ferry terminal, a non smoking floor, and the rooms while large were a little old. But location was excellent, minutes from Senado... more

The Sintra is a great bargain in Macau. An excellent location, it is perfectly charming, with nice sized rooms and nice staff. Much more comfortable that other hotels I have stayed in in Macau. more

I stayed here with a friend in Nov 08 after the AUS dollar dropped and our original choice was going to be far more expensive. We got a really good rate via booking.com. Location is excellent, close to several casino's and the Square, and around the corner from a shopping strip. The hotel itself is nothing spectacular but was clean,... more

We were in this hotel for 1 nights and the hotel was very comfortable. Rooms was big and clean. We have eaten in restaurant twice - the problem was with communication, because staff doesn´t speak English - only people by check-in and a man, who helped us with luggages. So we have ordered only thru the pictures in a menu.... more

Have stayed here a few times now and it is a good option in a great location. The rooms / bathrooms are very nice but a bit overpriced (as is the rest of Macau's hotels at weekends). Very close to the main clutch of casinos (Lisboa etc), the old Portuguese area, plus good shops and restaurants. more

This a charming somewhat old-fashioned hotel in central Macau. The gambling monoliths are visible from this hotel, but this hotel is quiet and even a little sedate. The decor is subdued and the general feeling is one of comfort. The room facilities are excellent, and the breakfast is excellent as well! The only criticism we would make is the propensity of... more

Stayed at Hotel Sintra for two days in Jan 2009. Though the pink colour building looks outdated when flanked to nearby dazzling Casino Lisboa, I have no complains about the rooms and staff. I was a Housekeeper for a Shangri-La hotel, thus it is my habit to look at the room's presentation. Though Hotel Sintra is not a 5 star... more
