I stayed at hotel Sintra for 5 nights whilst attending a conference at the Venitian. Initially I was a bit annoyed that I hadn't book the Venitian as it takes about 10 minutes by taxi to travel between the two. However, after having spent a couple of days at the conference I was glad to escape the superficial world of... more

This hotel is within walking distance of Senado Square, St. Paul's and Fortaleza do Monte. There are bus stops within a block or two that can take you all over Macau. The 2, 5 and 7 buses will take you to the Maritime Museum and A'Ma Temple; at the same stop, you will find A Lorcha, a Portuguese cuisine restaurant.... more

i was travelling with my family to macua and hongkong just for sightseeing purpose not for gambling. i would say that when i first saw the hotel.. i wasn't impressed by the old and out of dated building comparing with other mega casino hotels nearby. then, when i first entered the hotel, i knew it that this would be one... more

Stayed in here in August. Arrived Macau around 8pm after 9 hours flight. Gave the taxi driver the address in English but he could not understand so we got off at Grand Lisboa and walk to the hotel, just around the corner. The hotel looked old outside but okay inside. The location was good. Check in was bad. I've booked... more

Checking in was a breeze, we did find the 2 lifts a little on the slow side. However once we got to our room, whilst it being firmly stuck in 70’s – early 80’s décor we were impressed with the size of the room. The King bed whilst looking good was very very hard. If you are a Westerner you... more

Been wanting to write a review but keep forgetting/ putting off...stayed with my mom in Sintra for 2 days during Chinese New Year 2008. Very convenient as shops and stores were within walking distance. There was a crazy midnight sale everywhere on Chinese New Year eve at senodo square ( many shops were open). So we ate & shop, walk... more

Me and my son stayed in this hotel for 3 nights. Its was really a great stay. Centrally located. Walking distance to various places of interest like San Ma Lo, Grand Lisboa and various big time Casinos. Breakfast is good. They also have a shuttle to Hongkong Ferry terminal which is a walking distance to Fishermans wharf. I'd surely be... more

Some people suggested we stay nearer the Fisherman's Wharf to be closer to restaurants but my group wanted to be near Senado Square. Hotel Sintra was a good jump-off point for our purposes, we were less than a 10-minute walk away from Senado Square and walking distance to many of the old tourist spots we were interested in (ruins, churches,... more

We stayed 10 nights and paid around $AU $100/night for this 3 star hotel. Hotels seem to be expensive in Macau, esp compared to HK. We didn't expect much, but they had a shuttle pick up from the ferry terminal, a non smoking floor, and the rooms while large were a little old. But location was excellent, minutes from Senado... more
