We easily found the Holiday Inn staff member at the ferry and he put our luggage on the hotel bus when it arrived(1/2 hourly). Check in was efficient though as our room was not ready(?) we allowed ourselves to be upgraded to a refurbished floor at an extra charge. Did not mind too much as had read on this site... more

I was dissapointed in the hotel, it definitely need refurbishment. esp. the bathroom. Looks very old and shabby. Location is ideal and the double beds provided is big enough to sleep two. with the same price, you can get a newer hotel around the same location.. plenty to choose from.. more

Find the Holiday Inn (HI) shuttle bus by exiting the Macau Ferry Terminal and turn left towards the ramp. You already see a HI representative. The bus runs every 30 minutes and the journey takes no more than 10 minutes. Once at the hotel check-in was very welcoming and efficient. Within minutes after entering the lobby we arrived in our... more

after reading some of the reviews I was afraid having made a mistake in chosing this hotel to stay in. However, it is as good as it can be for its price. The standard room was big enough to put a baby cottage in. The bathroom is a bit rundown, but still okay. A big deal is the breakfast buffet... more

The hotel must be quite old, and shows its age. The AC is not very effective, and the bathrooms are shabby. If you are out most of the day, and use the hotel just for sleeping, it is acceptable. more

Just got back from Macau. I stayed at Holiday Inn Macau for one night. Had a hard time finding the hotel, with their directions not being helpful at all. They told us to take the AP1 bus but did not say where to get off. We ended up at the Chinese border! The Filipino staff at the lobby were very... more

Superior Room We booked this room on wotif.com originally for overnight stop over but we ended up staying for 3 nights waiting on relatives. When we checked in staff was friendly and very helpful AND spoke English. We were told that they didn't have anymore of the rooms that we booked on wotif.com so they are giving us a complimentary... more

We stayed at the Holiday Inn from 19-25 May and then again for 1 night on 31 May 2009. Despite having a booking for 2 rooms and being a member of the IHG Priority Club we were not given upgrades to the renovated rooms. Reading the other reviews posted I can only surmise that upgrades are given arbitrarily. THE GOOD... more
