I may be biased but really, this hotel retains that certain gracefulness and air unmatched by any other in Macau though its surrounding has been trashed by the existence of the Sands Casino. Service stayed wonderful and is better here than the new Mandarin, staffs are also much friendlier and better trained than the new Mandarin, best of all, much... More

Topnotch hotel near to the Hong Kong ferry terminal (North Island) with an attractively designed, large pool, plenty of comfortable loungers and, interestingly enough, a very nice smelling lobby. Hotel room was excellent with great bed, nice view and good balcony. Breakfast was delicious. A selection of bars and restaurants near the waterfront are within easy walking distance (although the... This was the worst night of our trip !! Booked a triple room for Thursday 2nd Feb.2012 Checked in at 3pm .Room not ready ............no problem as we went sight-seeing. Returned to hotel at 6pm, to discover that the bed for the 3rd person was a fold-away camp bed !!! This was totally unacceptable for an adult. This bed was... More

I stayed here for two weeks and the location, levels of service are great, the coinceige are the best, very helpful and knowledgable and always go out of their way to suceed in terms of levels of service. Only problem is it is now quite dated, it is however CLEAN and all furniture etc are well maintained. It was an... More

I checked in on March 19, 2012 for 2 nights during my business trip. I found this hotel quite comfortable to stay. The service was good and there is free shuttle from/to airport. I will consider again this hotel on my next visit to Macau

Stayed here multiple times over the last 1 month. I got cheap rates from the HK Macau Ferry Terminal - 780 hkd for weekdays and 1050 for Fridays. Location was great for me. Off the ferry and a short 10 min leisurely walk to the hotel. Perfect in Feb/March weather. Rooms are spacious, in fairly good condition though slightly dated.... More

I like this hotel because it has the charm of an old classic and without a casino, which is a nice contrast to most glitzy casino hotels nearby. A large garden area with a great gym provided a comfortable and relaxing stay. For those come by Ferry, this hotel is walking distance from the ferry terminal. .

I have to say that after staying at the other Mandarin Oriental in Macau, I had great hopes for Grand Lapa. The pitch for Grand Lapa is that it is more a resort style accomodation with 'Macanese style' decor. However, I was confronted with dated furniture (CRT TV) in room and old punch card type hotel card as the entry... More

After having tea at Café Bela Vista one day, I and my friends have decided to try their buffet. Even though the experience did not leave a very good impression, we decided to give it another try since we’ve heard many people rave about it. The manager told us that we were the first to have made the booking since... More

What is there to say about the mandarin oriental hotels and resorts other than they are never disapointing to say the very least. Its always top notch and less pricier than the four seasons without compromising anything. I used to stay at the four seasons but ever since discovering the mandarin oriental hotels and resorts, I have not looked back.... More
