Firstly I have to say I don't like casinos and I don't gamble but find all the glitch a bit of fun and the hotels are always nice. Also Macau is just two hour flight from Shanghai where I live so it is quick and easy to get here and a nice long weekend escape. Macau now takes more money... More

The style of reception is so much like most hotels in China : cautious that patrons are thieves, room check by attendants before Cashier would check you out. Swimming Pool is nice but no shower inside locker room.

We chose to stay 2 nights in the hotel because of it's proximity to Kids' friendly attractions such as the Kid's City, Ice World & the HoDW performance. 2 of the concierge staff, particularly Lokus (slightly misspelt) & his partner on duty on 3 Sept were exceptionally helpful in making our limo arrangements. Our stay would have been perfect if... More

We stayed at the Hard Rock at the Macau "City of Dreams". The place is friendly, efficient and the staff are on their toes, however some junior staff didn't speak English so well. We had a corner suite, used the pool and the spa and the "R Bar" restaurant. All good and up to the brand standard, however do note... More

Unfortunately we decided to try something different in Macau, and is hotel provided us with one of the worst experience in hotel stay. It is overpriced, over valued and generally lacking all the needs of a four star hotel. The rooms are small in comparison to other hotels, service extremely slow andnquality of the staff awful. Rude, slow and lacks... More

Basic and pleasant hotel. Love the scent of the complex. Room was small but cosy for couple. Breakfast at the lobby not worth trying. Staff generally ok but some have difficulty with English. Great mall but expensive. Overall decent stay with no wow.

Reservations and Check in We booked the standard king room online, as a package with The House of Dancing Water show, Bubble Theatre tickets and one-way ferry tickets to HK for 2 people. Total cost after taxes was ~HKD3300 (1 night stay). We tried early check in, only to find Hard Rock has a strict 3pm check in time, whereas... More

10 of us went here for a friend's birthday and a get-away from Hong Kong. Check in was fantastic. Julio went out of his way to make our stay as enjoyable, and included three bottles of free wine and a cake for the birthday girl. We couldn't have asked for better. Stayed with the House of Dancing Water package, and... More

I spent 2D1N in Macau last weekend. Despite the poor weather, the accommodation service was good. As usual, we needed to wait till 3pm for checking in, however, my mom wasn't feeling well, so the staff has kindly arranged a room for me earlier. The room was spacious with trendy design. The bed was very comfortable. There is only one... More

We stayed at Hard Rock Hotel in Macau for our weekend trip. We went there with an 18 month old baby and the hotel was just not for us at all. Pros; - There is supposed to be a great kids-friendly pool. Sandy area, music in the water, etc. - Easy access to different restaurants and facilities within City of... More
