The hotel lobby is old fashioned in a glitzy way - it is filled with treasures from Stanley Ho's collection. However, the rooms are modern and fabulous - I loved the room decor and of course the steam bath and jacuzzi! We ate at the Robuchon Au Dome (make reservations way in advance) for our 20th wedding anniversary - service... More

Macau hotels are totally focused on gambling, and this hotel is no exception. Every you see there are people who are so focus on gambling, the overall feel is no longer resort like. Even at non-smoking area the stench of smokes are overwhelming. All in all, the whole place felt like a big letter "M" for money is hanging in... More

These two pictures are taken in Macau’s night. Left one is Grand Lisboa and right one is Church of the Nativity of Our Lady. This church is a historical in Macau it built after 1576 years. We can see the cross in the top of church and three doors. In addition, the colorful window in front of the church, this... More

To celebrate my husband's birthday, I have decided to book the only 2 Michelin 3-star restaurants in Macau which are both located at Grand Lisboa Hotel. So logically I also booked this hotel for our weekend stay. To be honest, my perception on this hotel is it is catered to the riches in Mainland China and everything is loud showing... More

The Lisboa had been the symbol of casino gambling in E and SE Asia for decades. Since Macau opened up her gambling licensing competitively from one to several a decade or so ago, Sands, Wynn, MGM, etc. have moved in. To stay competitive, hence the Grand Lisboa: A solid, modern high rise in the shape of a sword standing tall... More

This hotel is gaudy and full of rude people. I have NO idea why the hotel allows people to smoke everywhere. It completely ruins your impression of the building, which lets be honest, is quite impressive. The ONLY saving grace of this hotel is the food. We ate in the noodle corner and the meal was really good, cheap and... More

Well equipped room! For this business trip we were offered a junior suite to share between two of us, size of bed is good, the view from the room is good and I was surprised we have in-room Steam and jacuzzi bath tub. The swimming pool and gym are also in very good condition, spacious and good location, no doubt... More

I prefer The older part of macau where you can find a blend of both historic places as well as flashy casinos. I stayed in the hotel for 3 days. The interior is contemporary old style with several shops and restaurants inside. If you prefer a hard core macau experience, then this is the place to stay!

It was a very good stay. The room is very big and all the minibar contents are free of charge. The bathroom is just fabulous. It has a computerized shower and bath with a steamer. Very relaxing. The only thing that was missing was one more hanger for the towels. Couples usually stay in hotel rooms so why just one... More
