East Asia Hotel is an old grand hotel that has seen a better day. But it is still a comfortable place to stay in a great location. My husband and I both slept very well here and the price was a huge discount when compared to newer hotels or the casinos. It still was not cheap - our double en-suite... More

Yeah, so something was missing when I checked into my room--a single blessed square inch of daylight. If you're not claustrophobic and don't care about fire safety then no big deal I guess. So here's the rundown: Location: fabulous if you're here for the UNESCO sites. It's right near the gorgeous square that fronts onto the Leal Senado. Cleanliness: Actually... More

Spent a night for transit to Hong Kong. The location wise might not as good to the central hotel as required lot of walk to the nearby touristic point. We are staying at 3rd floor. The room is not really pleasent and lack of maintanance and It is not sounds proof as you easily heard the noise at the corridor.... More

The hotel is located in a side road just a few minutes walk from the Senado Square. As walk-in guests we requested to see the room first, the Hotel Central refuses to let the guests have a look first. They showed us a room on the 5th floor, the whole floor as well as the rooms are newly renovated one... More

This was my first time I came to Macau. I circulated my travelling plan by starting with Macau International Airport. I took a trip from Macau to Hongkong by water, then Shenzhen and Zhuhai. Last place to explore the culture was Macau I pass the border from Zhuhai to Macau. I got on the bus from the frontier to East... More

For first timers in Macau, i suggest that you bring your ubiquitous macau map to locate East Asia hotel. Although you could always bump to our kababayan's for some directions, the hotel is in close promixity to CasinoPonte 16 in Rua das Lorchas. It is also a few blocks away from the Senado Square. The streets in macau are narrow... More

No complaints if you are on a budget and want to be near the centre. If you speak Cantonese, staff is very helpful, taxi drivers can tell you more things than the Tourism office wl provide, just need to get used to their natural high volume. Our trip included some drama when the lobby flooded with seawater up to the... More
