Stayed at Ballamoar for 10 days to watch the TT races. Fantastic site for this as it's only about a minutes walk to Ballaugh bridge which is a great view point to watch the bikes get air and then fly past at ridiculous speeds! The campsite itself is fantastic. The toilets are always clean and spotless and there's always loo... More

Large well kept firm field. Tent pegs hit gravel/stones about 3 inches down so this field is unlikely to ever become a quagmire even if busy in wet weather. Well considered layout of different sized plots. Large wooden constructed but clean and modern toilet/shower roomy/tall shower blocks. Small washing machine room with only two washers and two dryers (One dryer... More

Cannot fault this site in any way. I stayed here for 28 nights before, during and after the 2015 TT. Ballamoar is the best managed campsite that I have ever been to and Steve and his team work tirelessly to ensure that your stay goes as well as possible. The facilities are superb and the wash room / toilet blocks... More

I stayed here for 5 nights over the TT period and could not fault it at all, it was easy to find you just follow the course to ballaugh and pull in at the pub, all the faculties were spot on, and a spar shop and pub a minutes walk away make it easy for food and drinks, when the races... More

So much more available than you could wish for from a camp site. Facilities were spotless. Free tea and coffee. Full use of the kitchen including microwaves fridges and toaster. The atmosphere was just amazing and deffo value for money. TT passes just a 2 minute walk from the site. If we're here next year this will deffo be our... More

We spent 8 nights here during TT 2015. 7 in the sites own touring caravan and 1 in our tent. The caravan had a few teething problems but Steve the site owner couldn't do enough to help. Given that it was TT fortnight and the site was full the facilities where kept clean. It was quite noisy very early in... More

Me and my girlfriend stayed here for the TT in June. The location was great only a couple minutes walk to ballaugh bridge, the raven pub, spar shop and bus stop. The owners were kind and friendly and took time to talk to us and tell us about where to watch the racing. The toilet facilities were kept clean and... More

Just got back from a 4 night stay as part of the TT week with a couple of friends. The campsite is a little out of the way, but directly off the course and still has access to the island when the races are on, (which was fine by me!) But there is a shop and pub 5 min walk... More

We have been staying at Ballamoar campsite not for a number of years and have found it to be the best in the Isle of Man! Steve is a very friendly host and does everything he can for the campers. There are electricity hook-ups available and the shower and toilet facilities are cleaned frequently. The campsite is only a 2... More

Stayed in the most comfy igloo, it was so cosy, the main bed was huge, could have easily slept a whole family on it (there is also a single bed that's separate to the main bed). Steve was very considerate, even left the heater on so it was warm for when we arrived. We had actually planned to camp, but... More
