Photos of "beautiful" beaches and paradores can be very deceiving. They actually look great from a distance. However, when you get there, you encounter very different realities. My wife and I stayed for our honeymoon. To us, we had the best room in the resort because it was over looking the pool and ocean. We have returned to Bahia Salinas for several years, almost ten years by now. Each year we have enjoyed new features in the resort. During iour last visit in March 09 we specially enjoyed breakfast in the beuatiful outdor restaurant with the friendly cooks and staff. Last December American Airlines had a $250 Austin/San Juan round trip special that we couldn't pass up and pushed the "Buy" button!
