Lochwinnoch is an enchanting village just beyond the conurbations that extend round Glasgow. Especially in Burnfoot House you get the sense that you are a million miles from the pace of urban life. Burnfoot House is a beautifully restored and well appoined historic building in a quaint and very friendly village about 25 min. by train from Glasgow (train station is a 2 min. drive/20 min. walk from the house). I have stayed in a lot of B&B's in tha USA and Europe and I must say Ronnie, the owner/host at Burnfoot House, extended himself above and beyond duty to make us feel comfortable and at home.
