My fiance and I wanted to treat ourselves to a nice romantic weekend away for our birthdays and that was just that! We stayed in one of the tent suites close to the water. Everything is well maintained and clean. The view was spectacular. Going to bed watching the sunset and waking up while the sun was rising over the... More

I had my thoughts about sleeping a tent. But it was awesome. Floors are tile and is heated. Bath tub was a deep jacuzzi and the shower was spacious. No TV, but didn't miss it at all. Very quiet area, great view over looking the ocean. Saw my first eagle while enjoying the morning air. Picture of tent attached.

This hotel has unique ocean view if you stay in the tent house. The restaurant is very nice and hotel staffs are very friendly and welcome. We live in a 3-room cabin which is very clean and comfortable. The room is a little bit small but still acceptable for 4 to 5 people. The view from this 3-room cabin is... More

Had a fantastic time at the Secret Cove Resort. Stayed in one of their luxurious tenthouses...what an amazing experience. Very well appointed room...definitely "glamping"! Comfy king size bed, awesome tub, toasty fireplace...the list goes on and on. Best part was waking up and looking out into a gorgeous unobstructed view of the water. Will definitely be back!

We stayed for 3 nights in early February 2015. We booked into tent house suite 53 for two of the nights. The last night we requested an oceanfront tent house suite #59 as the resort was less busy. The staff easily accomodated our request. Wow is all I can say. The suites are luxurious, the beds were incredibly comfortable, heated... More

My wife and I stayed here on Feb 28-2015, and the only regret was that we didn't find this gem sooner, and that we couldn't stay longer. The resort has beautiful surroundings with a amazing view in almost every direction you look. Lots of trails to walk, a pool to enjoy, a full spa, and amazing dinning. We decided to... More

Short ferry ride from Vancouver to Sechelt Peninsula. Further hour drive up the peninsula. We had a cabin because we took our dog . There are rooms in the main building and also secluded, yurt type tents with wooeden floors on the rock cliff. It is a very scenic location atop a rock cliff overlooking Georgia Strait and Gulf islands.... More

Hello Joan S, Happy Anniversary and Thank You very much for the kind review. Yes, you are correct in mentioning that there are no hiking trails within a walking distance to our resort. There are however some great ones within a 5 minutes to 45 minutes drive to and from Rockwater Resort and Spa. We look forward to your return... More

Although the property and view are indeed breathtaking, our 1 bedroom suite in the lodge was quite under whelming! As my husband said "I'd be thrilled if this was 1970". The bathroom sink was chipped. The linens were lovely, however both my husband and I woke up with a sore back. If you go spend the money and stay in... More

My sister and I enjoyed a 'Galentine' weekend together (minus the men) since we SO needed some time to laugh and took advantage of the long weekend. I found Rockwater by searching other locations from a recommendation by colleague. Once I saw their website and read all the reviews and saw that it was a 5 hour drive from Seattle,... More

Rock Water Secret Resort was a place that my husband and I had wanted to get married at, but we had found another venue in Vancouver which better suited the needs of our group. As a gift on the day of our wedding, I had surprised him with a trip to the Sunshine Coast to stay at Rock Water Secret... More
