Rockwater is a magical waterfront resort hotel on BC's Sunshine Coast. Very tranquil, quiet and peaceful. The older main lodge is fine, and the swimming pool is very inviting. But the best feature of the resort are the luxurious tent-cabins dotted among the trees overlooking the sea, and reached by an elevated boardwalk: these are awesome. Private, elegant, very well... This space was a beautiful place to relax, but the overall service made it overpriced, especially for the sunshine coast. The restaurant staff were cold in a rush; surprise massage was ruined by front desk.

We celebrated my husbands 50th Birthday. We stayed in a tent room and couldn't have wanted for more. Initially were disappointed not to be in a tent right on the water, but in the end we were pleased as #53 was protected by the trees, therefore warmer out of the wind. Had a perfect sunset view every evening. The tent... More

This really was a true romantic getaway. We stayed in one of the tent suites for 3 nights and it was beautiful. Each suite has a little fridge so we brought some snacks to go with the bottles of wine we also brought. It was so nice to sit in the afternoon and evenings on the balcony and relax with... More

see my previous comments - we loved the room and the resort but were very disappointed with the exhaust ceiling fan in the bathroom. It was incredibly noisy and made being in the bathroom quite stressful.

This place is unreal. We stayed in one of the tent houses and couldn't believe the beauty. Such a special place. Will definitely be back...when we win some money perhaps (because it's not cheap). Only thing to be aware of is internet issues at some of the outer tent houses - but perhaps that's a sign to unplug!

Reservation incorrect. I had the email to clearly indicate it was their mistake. Batteries dead in room for remote for fireplace. No candle in lateen on deck. Food was only fair. Dining room service only adequate Check in was slow, and very cool. Tent and vie were lovely. Surprised at aged facility, service and food quality for the price.

We recently enjoyed a most exceptionally wonderful stay at Rockwater Secret Cove Resort. We have done a lot of travelling and have lived in different countries, and staying in the luxury tenthouses ("glamping") is definitely up there on our list of memorable experiences! We stayed in #61(fabulous) the first night as we were booked only for one night, but after... More

A restful retreat that is a quick trip away from the lower mainland. We loved the natural setting of our little cabin on the seaside. There are numerous hikes into old growth forest that provided serenity as we listened to the sounds of birds and watched wildlife in their own habitat' breathing in peace and relaxation as we went.

The tent suites were such a treat.. it was easy to get away for a short time and completely relax. The scenery is nothing short of spectacular and the experience was incredibly romantic. The dining room is outdated and rather boring ambiance wise, however the food was for the most part fresh and tasty.
