We stayed here for three nights and wouldve stayed a whole week if possible. The big bungalow is spacious and beautiful with a little deck perfect for chilling, the gardens really give you a sense of privacy and peace. Plus the banana pancakes in the morning are delicious! Highly recommend!

We were wandering around the island in search of a nice accommodation. Suddenly we met a guy on his bicycle inviting us to see his bungalows. He appeared out of nowhere so we took it as a good sign and we really were pleasantly surprised. Huge bungalows made of wood in the middle of big green garden. Lot of space,... More

This is a lovely place where to stay. Peter, Ika and Seti are a beautiful family, sending good vibes all around them and creating a peaceful atmosphere where to relax and enjoy the beauty of this tiny island (and life in general). The bungalows are beautiful, super clean and a really good value for money. And the garden is really... More

This is a great place to stay. There are currently only 4 bungalows set in a huge, beautiful garden. Its in a quiet location reached by a private lane way from the beach. There are 2 bungalows set high in the trees and 2 more standard type bungalows. Each bungalow has large beds with mosquito nets, nice bamboo furniture, lamp... More

The place looks nice and the the garden is very inviting BUT their booking system sucks. A few people wrote about it already so when I booked, we made sure to call two days before arriving to confirm. We asked our hotel in Ubud to do so, in Indonesian, to avoid any miscommunication. That wasn't enough...when we rocked up there... More

Dear Jerome. I'm really sorry for your unlucky inconveniences. Seti and Ika are usually Mr and Mrs Sunshine and try to do their very best to accommodate. And I sincerely apologize on their behalf for your unfortunate experience. When I receive inquiries to TB:s Facebook I do my best to stress that it's a reservation (not a booking) you make,... More

I have spent 2 nights in tangga bungalows, it was everything I was looking for, quiet, fresh and green. The bungalows themselves are very confortable and the breakfast has the best pancakes I've had in Indonesia. Definetly my place to stay whenever I go back to Gili Air

I should say up front that we did not stay here but my review intends to explain why. The day prior to arriving at Gili Air my partner messaged the facebook page asking if there was any available rooms, the owner who wasn't in Indo wrote back swiftly saying he was sure there would be a room available however we... Thank you for being so clear with the fact that you didn't actually stay in TB. Obviously we can't meet everybody's expectations, so fortunately there are many other nice accommodations on the island, which my Indonesian (sad if that's an issue) manager always assists with finding (distant-gazed or not) if TB is not satisfactory or fully booked. Bungallows are wonderful, haven't seen anything like that on the whole island. Built with great attention to details totally from bamboo, giving you very "ecological" and "earthy" feel - just the one you expect from Gili. Owners are really nice, trying their best to do everything to make you happy. Overall that's much more than you can expect for price... More

Hello dear traveler. Glad to hear you enjoyed your stay at Tangga Bungalows. I hereby take the opportunity again to try to clarify what might be perceived as a communicational problem between me (the investing owner), and the hosting family who runs our place. There is no internet in TB, and Seti and Ika haven't got any internet accounts whatsoever.... More

We stayed here for 4 nights here and loved it. The bungalows are lovely- very clean and spacious with great balconies to chill on. The cold-water shower is more of a tap but was very powerful and did the job. Breakfast was great- good juices on arrival too. We did have occasional visitors such as lizards and a cute ginger...
