Great breakfast. We loved the banana crepes :) These cottages are not luxury cottages. They are a good value for what you pay for. Don't book online. You get a cheeper price if you book in person. The cottage we stayed in had air con but not hot water with on outdoor shower. The room was clean other than the... More

Organic style living in hand-made Bungalows set among coconut groves, home to cows and calves that roam free to graze on the grassy grounds. This beachfront property features nice, clean, well size double and twin rooms from $25 a night. Check out the Flintstone like bathrooms that are completely hand crafted from coral, rocks and bamboo. The double shower and... More

Booked on line mainly due to lonely planet review. Can't really understand their recommendation. We arrived to find a pretty run down place but we thought since it was only for a couple of nights we would brave it. But by sun down it became apparent that our room was infested by cockroaches. Could have put up with the stained... More

I really don't understand all the good reviews. Because of that we went there and it wasn't even near to what we expected. The location is quite good though and also the chocolate pancake for breakfast. But thats all!! The rest was more than disappointing. Its hard to believe that the place is quite new, because it looks very run... More

To arrive on an island without motor transport and therefore no noisy cars or scooters is a treat or starters. Our hosts at Segar Villages greeted us with a very warm welcome and showed us to our pad which was closest to the ocean, with a superb balcony (where we spend most of our time). Generally accommodation on Gili Air... More

We had mixed feelings about Gili Air and this accommodation. We did not book in advance because we could negotiate a cheaper price than booking in advance. We had an aircon room for 400k IDR. Negotiated with the owner (not with the guys working..) The guys who 'work' there, work there because they do not need to work (hard). This... More

I loved it! Basically I went there with 14 with my mates and they all got rooms down the island at Kaluku so I was the odd one out in Segar but had a amazing time. The room was amazing and very spacious and cool. The bathroom was a massive wet room which had one of the best showers I've... More

We loved our stay here. Starting with spotting the Komodo lizard in the pond, to the outdoor bathroom with the waterfall shower. Our cottage faces west and I watched the sunrise. At night we relaxed in the hammock listening to the waves. The staff was extremely accommodating and breakfast was tasty

I stayed there for 2 weeks with a friend. We shared a bungalow - double bed, fan. We haggled a bit to get the price down as we were staying for 2 weeks. The place was very calm and chilled. Breakfast was a feast, with choice of eggs or pancakes with side of fruits and fruit juice or coffee. The... More
