It's a cheap place to stay but it is certainly worth paying a bit extra. The were so many ants on our bed the whole time we were here - and absolute infestation. The bathroom roof leaked massively so when it rained (which it does in wet season) you got soaking if you went to the toilet, brushed your teeth... More

I visited Tamu Tamu twice. It's the best hostel I stayed in whole I was travelling indonesia. It isn't the best in terms of facilities but it has everything you essentially need. What makes it special is the staff! The guys there are awesome! They help you with anything you need. They are always happy and singing! I spent my... More

We stayed here for 2 nights. The room was basic but clean and spacious. The place is chilled with the staff playing guitar and singing. We had no problem getting breakfast early and they always answered our questions about the beach and boat times etc. If I came back to Gili T I would stay again.

If you're looking for a laid back, very cheap place to stay with the friendliest, most hospitable people then this is the place for you. The rooms are basic, the showers are cold, the beds are comfortable and that's all you need on Gili T. If you want the Hilton then pay $50 a night for posh accommodation, but if... More

Stayed in this place as it was the cheapest option and a few others we walked in were in similar or worse condition for higher price. it is quite basic, simple room with fan, cold shower, but also has wifi and offer breakfast. It is quite run down though, especially the toilet and needs some serious work. It is pretty warm... More

It's not in the center of the village at all. Its 5 blocks away from the main strip. About 400 meters. They advertise breakfast from 7am but I never saw anyone in attendance. Even at 7:15 am there are staff sleeping in the huts outside the guest rooms - fast asleep. Shower has super low flow rate / pressure so... More

We used tamu tamu as a place to sleep and nothing more. They are basic rooms with fan or air con, cold showers and reasonably clean rooms. Everything's a bit tired, the toilet has brown stains that could do with some bleach and a good scrub! The family are friendly and offer tea or coffee every time you come in... More

Payed for a fan room, power cuts 2 nights on the trot from 11pm all two way through till 7am which meant no sleep as the rooms are a heat trap. The staff were friendly enough but I would've rather have terrible staff and power all night as sleep is my best friend. I also contracted Typhoid which didnt help... More

Location is not far off from the centre, reception area/cozy outdoor wooden huts were awesome, and you could also rent bikes. Dhika, who runs the place made our stay awesome! He was kind enough to show us around, took us snorkelling at glass bottom boat, and showed us some great spots in Gili. I'd recommend this place to any backpacker... More
