My friend & I stayed here for five nights at the end of July. We decided to walk from getting off the boat as I didn't want to use the horses (I felt sorry for them). It is about a 10 - 15 minute walk from the harbour & relatively easy to find (we spoke to Jim about having a... More

Although gili palms is a good 10 minute walk from the night life and party part of the strip it's not as far as people make it out to be. It's right across from the beach and close to the best snorkelling area on the island. I was really happy with my 6 night stay. The staff were extremely helpful... More

We stayed for 6 nights and were really happy with the place. Beautiful pool with loungers both in the sun and the shade. The beach is only across the road. The staff went out of their way to help and when I couldn't connect to the internet jim the manager from Oz lent me his own laptop. Great location a... More

Loved Gili trewangan, people so friendly and the location stunning. Jim, Argus and the staff at Gili palms thanks for helping to make our stay easy and relaxing. We would definetly come back. Diving at the Gili's is exceptional we did our introductory course with Manta Dive, very professional, friendly and encouraging, so amazing swimming with the green turtles..

My daughter and I stayed here for 5 nights and were very happy we did. It was so relaxed and peaceful. Jim, the Manager was very helpful as were the staff. Loved the pool which was kept very clean. Perfect for laps in the morning. Brekky was great, especially the Mee Goreng. It was good to be able to hire... More

there is a lot to be said for this place - it is towards the north end of the island and a lot more relaxed than other parts of the island. we were on our honeymoon and thought the location was great. the pricing was good. the ac was ice cold. the minibar was a nice touch(beers are same price... Stayed here for 2 night in May 2014. its not directly at the beach but whole island is so small that you do not mind walking a bit. The access road to this place is a bit scarry looking but found it safe. Beach, bars, restaurants are just walking distance from the place. Its in a very nice a quiet... More

Overpriced. Don't book online! Negotiate on place. They charge double what it's worth. Also the shower area is moldy and sheets dirty. If you find something cleaner elsewhere, go for it! I booked it online and having a hard time getting over that the other guests payed half what I did, luckily I only booked 1 night!

Gili Trawangan is a beautiful and relaxing Island, so you need a relaxing place to stay; just go for this place! Because: - location: nice and quiet, not directly along the busy mainroad, but close (only 100 metres walk). Everything, so the restaurants, bars, shops and the beach, are on walkingdistance. - The beach near this resort is superb: the... More

I am not usually one to write a review, but here it goes. We had stayed for a total of 2 nights and paid 1,200,000 rupiah. It is overpriced considering the quality of accommodation and the prices that are charged. The room was decent, but then again a similar accomodation can be found cheaper elsewhere on the island. Overall we... More
