Off the beaten path and much quieter than the Central area. Gili Palms Resort is an extremely clean and well managed hotel/bungalows. The guys on the staff are wonderful including Mr. Jim, all very accommodating and helpful with any request. Less than a ten minute walk to the white sandy beaches to snorkel. The mini-bar always re-stalked with water, beer,... More

We arrived Saturday 3rd January after a fast boat to Gili T. Around a 10 min walk or 3 minute on a horse and cart to this Resort. We arrived with a really nice reception, the boys were great, english was great and anything we needed, they were more than happy to seek for us. The rooms are neat with... More

Gili islands were not on our program. As we spend some days in Bali we heard many interesting things about this paradise. So we took the decision to visit them. After arranging everything with our hotel we searched for a good place for our stay. Gili Palms Resort was one of the last available for the days we wanted to... More

We stayed for 9 nights in Gili Palms in November. Resort is managed by SUPERnice Australian Jim, he and his staff made us feel so welcome the whole holiday. Rooms are nice and clean with AC and tv. Minibar's prices are the same as in minimarkets, so don't bother dragging water etc. from town. Minibar is filled every day, but... More

Spent 3 nights at this hotel on our honeymoon. It was a little tricky to find but everything was fine as soon as we found it. The staff were very friendly and assisted us every way they could. The breakfast was good (made to order) and coffee was delicious and generous. Would highly recommend the place to friends and family... More

Overall this hotel was just "ok". The rooms were clean, air con worked well, wifi signal good, and the minibar fridge was a nice bonus (prices are pretty much same as the stores). The location isn't optimal (but the bikes came in handy and were adequate)...my girlfriend felt uncomfortable when sitting by the pool in her bathing suit, was whistled... More

This guesthouse is at the quieter North end of the main strip which suited us well, the night market is a 20 - 25 minute stroll, we ate there every night and really enjoyed the walk. You can also walk around to the top of the island for the sunset in about 20 - 25 minutes. We took a horse... More

Small and quiet, bit off the Main Street at the north end but still not far from anything you can rent bicycles and snorkelling gear from the hotel. Full minibar and snacks all sold at the same price as on the street and refilled each day which was nice. Manager is great and helpful, one of the owners was also... More

Stayed here after landing off the boat and was approached by someone who said it was a great place. We trusted them and went, this hotel is further from the action and I would suggest hiring bikes to explore - which we did. Hotel room was small - fully stocked mini bar - TV and DVDs to lend from the... More

What a great place to stay so close to the night life but far enough away not to hear it. The owners are Aussie and standard of the hotel and service are great. Basic breakfast but good enough to start the day, they have hire push bikes to ride around the island at $5 a day and also do laundry... More
