I got to Gili Trawangan without knowing how much I'd stay and ended up staying over 2 weeks, also because of how much i liked the homestay. The rooms are basic but cosy nonetheless, you can get a cheap one with cold water and fan or a better one with air con, the shared little garden in the middle is... More

I'll start with the positives, the staff are friendly and try to remember your name, nice touch.everything else is awful. They don't tidy rooms or bathrooms or or replenish toilet roll. The en suite door doesn't close, so you're roomies will get to know you more than they had bargained for. I got an electric shock from the room socket.... More

We stayed here for 4 nights in March 2014. Clean room, private bathroom, AC and breakfast included. We booked the AC room and paid a little extra which was worth it. Still a good value for the money on an island where everything is expensive. It is a little bit off the main drag but everything in Gili T is... More

This review is long overdue, my best friend and I stayed here in November of 2013 and I had every intention in writing a review immediately following my stay but you know how it gets as a backpacker. I absolutely loved staying here. The staff are amazing and really made us feel comfortable and at home. Their mantra was "Our... More

We had a double room, also with a spare single bed in the room for 150 during peak season close to Christmas. Not a bad price, private bathroom, fan, fresh water shower and small area out front to sit for tea anytime and the included breakfast. No negotiations were accepted. Norman was a lovely fun loving guy, and his workers... More

Do not come here with high expectations - it is extremely basic but a fun place to stay nonetheless. Norman and his team of friends who run the place are extremely relaxed and friendly - you can't help but get into the Gili chilled out vibe by staying here. The room is basic and the bathroom is outside but each... More

We had a great time staying at Edy's. Norman and the rest of the staff were fantastic with us from the word go. They shared food and drinks with us, hung out and chatted to us and made us all feel at home. The room itself was good value for money and had all of the facilities we needed. We... More

We stay 4 nights at Edy's homestay in february 2013. The room was not clean, I don't think they change the sheets before we arrived. The hotel is noisy, as it's pretty small and everyone is drinking on the balcony. We were diving with my boyfriend and we find it difficult to rest for the night there. If you want... More

First, it's not a homestay. We booked the place because of great reviews - don't know what people were raving about. So shortly: 1) the first thing we were asked upon arrival was if we wanted to buy weed. Nice for some people I guess, and though I have nothing against weed, a simple "hello" would have been nicer :)... More

Ok so maybe it doesn't look as luxury as the photos but what edy lacks in luxury it makes up for in charm. Even though this is just a set of 8 rooms it keeps its family feel thanks to Norman and his friends who are always on hand to get you coffee or well whatever you need :) It's... More
