I think that some peoples expectations are way to high. Algarb is only a three star hotel but i thought it was great and could'nt complain about it. The food was amazing and the pool was even better leading straight onto the beach. The views from the bedroom were also lovely as there is a clear view of the beach.... more

My Husband and myself have been to this hotel many many times before when it was owned by Fiesta. Then it was brilliant but now it is a nightmare. If you want a lovely family holiday or a lovely couples holiday DON'T GO HERE TO THE ALGARB I think it should be in a 18-30 brochure. the hotel it's self... more

Stayed at this hotel for a week , the hotel was spotless, the all inclusive is great value, food is excellent quality and choice, the location is good for Ibiza town the airport, and Figurettes. ~The lifts kept breakin down however they were soon repaired. The decor was slightly dated but i could not fault this hotel on cleanliness,, the... more

This hotel isnt total luxury and we did have some probs, but it wasnt as bad as the other reviews make out so I wanted to give it some support. When we arrived we were told that we had been moved to a hotel over the road, we insisted either put us in this hotel or give us our money... more

I was on a short visit to ibiza and only really needed somewhere to crash out and Algarb did the job. It was low season so i couldn't say what the place was like in full flow but it was was tidy and clean and pool was what you would expect. The room was small but fine. The breakfast certainly... more

We stayed at the Algarb in April 2009 and Ibiza was closed. There were possibly 6 bars/restaurants open in the resort but that didn't stop us enjoying ourselves. The weather was great and the Hotel location perfect. There were some teething problems with getting key cards to open doors - one couple we were with had to have their room... more

Having originally booked the San Remo in San Antonio we found ourselves in Playa den Bossa in the Algarb. We got to San Antonio to find the hotel we had booked cockroach-ridden, dirty and smelly and so com plained and got relocated here. I must say that this hotel was a step up from the previous one... though this is... more

Stayed here for 4 nights in early September for my stag do (was initially hoping to stay at the ‘legendary’ Jet Apartments, where I’ve stayed several times in the past and have many happy memories, but nowadays they’re only accepting a minimum 6 nights stay, boo!). We had originally booked the Jabeque Apartments, however on the day of our departure... more
