I stayed here with my husband on the final four days of our honeymoon in August. The area of Skala itself is beautiful and Kefalonia on a whole is an amazing spot to visit. I have to say we were impressed with the staff who were always helpful etc and the shuttle bus in and out of the town is... More

Went all inclusive this holiday and on arrival things seemed ok, got there about 14:30 and happy to see lunch buffet was still open, had some food which was a bit cold but put that down to the time it had been out. Most of the staff were very nice and helpful for the full length of our stay. the... More

Our room was great, lovely comfortable bed, TV tea and coffee making facilities , fridge and safe. We were in 612 and had a lovely sea view. Th staff were marvellous nothing to much trouble. A beautiful hotel with amazing sea-view! The food was very good and you could get an excellent taste of Greek traditional dishes. The set-up of the hotel is very cosy and calm as it forms a small amphitheatric village. All the amenities of the hotel (swimming pool, gym, etc.) are of a high standard and contribute to the holiday spirit... More

We stayed at the Porta Skala Hotel from August 28th 2013 for 7 days. The hotel is definitely not of 4 star standard, the rooms are in need of a good paint job, however it was very clean. We stayed in room 107 which had a fantastic sea view with a good sized balcony. We only paid for bed and... More

We had a fairly nice stay 11th July for five nights - we weren't expecting much as we'd only paid £90 for three of us each day all inclusive. True to expectations, the room was basic with a tiny bathroom and a room that didn't have a view. We didn't complain as we were only staying five nights. The food... More

I really loved this place. it is a colourful amfitheatric complex of seperated houses (like a small village) with great sea view! The food was amazing!real tasty Greek food and fresh salads ( a young man was cutting in front of you your own Greek salad and later on fresh fruits! In the morning he was preparing great omelette just... More

We've just returned from Porto Skala and were very impressed. Our room, 105, was at the front with exceptional views.( With two balconies!)Yes some rooms are up a few stairs but the hotel is on the side of a mountain!! If your room is close to reception you might be able to get the wifi, as well as wifi around... More

We stayed in Porto Skala Hotel from the 13th June - 21st of June and had a great time! Upon arrival we were taken to our room. It was a very basic room but the large balcony, swimming pool, restaurant area and beach across the road more than made up for it. I'm a vegetarian and found the food really... More

If you find using steps difficult then this hotel is not for you. The site is tiered and there are many steps. The location is a good walk from the main town but is doable. All inclusive is the best option as the beers and spirits are expensive and you will drink a lot whilst here due to the heat.... More
