Very friendly staff and laid back atmosphere. No food in the evenings but Skala offers so much food and drink there is no need. Well decorated, nice breakfasts (particularly the hot chocolate!) and lovely pool area. Its a 5 minute walk to the beech although uphill coming back might be tough for older people. You can catch a cab for... More

We have just returned from a lovely week at the Livadaki Village Hotel. The setting is lovely with beautiful gardens. The pool is stunning and all areas are kept very clean. The staff are very friendly and helpful and despite the hotel being full it didn't feel busy. Sofia, the manager, was always around to help with any queries and... More

We had a lovely week in Skala at the Livadaki Village Hotel. It's about a 10 minute walk out of the main resort (the walk down a little easier than the walk up!). The hotel is clean, bright, new and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The pool is lovely as is the area surrounding it, and as the... More

Enjoyed a very nice week's stay in late July. Rooms, Pool & communal areas are all spotlessly clean and gardens are beautiful and well kept Hill is not too bad to walk up and the views are stunning when having breakfast or lazing by the pool. Agree with other reviewers that cost of drinks is excessive compared to places in... More

We had a great 2 week stay. 3 Euros for an ice tea was excessive but apart from that, it was lovely. Yes, there's a hill, but it's in close range to a majority of attractions. A dip in the lovely, clean pool after climbing it made it all worth while. The balconies were a lovely touch for each room... More

The hotel is clean, friendly and welcoming. Just outside Skala so not affected by the noise and hustle and bustle but easily accessible if you want to visit the town. A down hill walk to the beach in about 10 mins. Perfect for a relaxing break. All the staff were friendly and efficient. The rooms were functional, clean and tidied... More

Good location if requiring peace and quiet. Gardens lovely and well kept. Room adequate. but not happy about having to pay for air con and safe key. Breakfast was repetitive and often the milk and Greek yoghurt were watered down. Mattresses were in need of renewal, linen changed regularly.

My partner and I stayed at the Livadaki between 28th July and 5th August. Here is an honest review to assist you with your decision making. From the beginning.......The airport is extremely easy with no chance of getting lost or left behind. Please allow an hour and a half transfer to the hotel which could be quite difficult if you... Almost all the reviews are true. It is very quiet at night (except Thursdays, I'll come back to that), we chose it partly because of that. If you want late nights and parties, go elsewhere. I do agree however that a little, suitable, background music and maybe some lanterns or similar might attract a more romantic couple atmosphere. The pool... More

Just spent 2 weeks at this hotel and on the whole it was a very pleasant experience, but Sophia missed a few opportunities. The hotel is situated on a hill, which is no bad thing, but after a night in the town and a hot walk back up and you fancy a refreshing drink, you find that the hotel is... More
