My husband and I enjoyed our stay the first time we visited four years ago. But not so much this time. They've built new buildings and continue to do so, as evidenced by the continuous construction noise. They gated off the south end of the island, so resort guests have to climb over slippery rocks and walk through the water... More

Hi Ange, Sorry about the construction noise and temporary construction debris in December as we finished up the transfer of our group facilities from another location to the northern end of this property. You will have notice that we did nothing to affect the privacy of the existing cottages! There were weather delays with the project and we are sorry... More

This place is everything you'd want in a beach vacation. The owners are on-site and actively involved in running the resort. We had a beautiful cabana that was twenty feet from the shore. Excellent snorkeling, great food, lovely people.

The perfect place if you want to really relax. It's the best snorkeling I've ever experienced, both off the beach and the side trips to local reefs. Swimming is perfect. Theresita and Leonard are wonderful hosts. Views are great from almost everywhere. The food is excellent, lots of fresh fish, lobster, red snapper. That said, if you want a variety... More

If you long for quiet time on an island and a peaceful beautiful vacation, this is the resort for you. It is on an island and you will need to come over in an open boat and the waters may be rough. They cannot control weather conditions! Once there you will be well taken care of. This is a place... More

We loved this little island. It was so relaxing and unbelievably beautiful. The water was the perfect temperature Everything is low key and relaxed. The people who run the resort are very kind and accommodating. We enjoyed our snorkeling trips with Ritchie who speared a few lion fish and conch for us. The kitchen then cooked them for as an... We have been to many parts of Belize over the years, and figured we would try out the island life for a change. We arrived via a thirty minute ride in a tiny boat. Many members of my family get seasick, so this was not a pleasant ride for any of us. You do get pretty wet, too which was... More

Pelican Beach really has it all, or most of it, if you want comfort, great snorkeling (our no. 1 request), peace and quiet. It's on a key right on the reef, and there's decent snorkeling right off the beach (biggest barracuda I've ever seen right there!). We don't fish, but our son-in-law does, and he spent hours on the flats... More

We are sorry it took a year to post your comments. Problems with invasive neighbors are best resolved administratively by the companies themselves and in regard to legal opinions by the Belize court system which has spoken on this matter. In both cases - minimizing involving guests has been our policy as you are on vacation. We offer our guests... More

great place for location, service, snorkeling and relaxing. Staff were attentive, attempted to meet all needs. Food is family style and delicious. People came off their boats while we were there for some meals. Great instruction and supervision with snorkeling. Had scuba divers who reported they enjoyed their experience. Our instructors were Patrick Bradley and Alton Sabal. They were friendly,... More

Ok, I'm really late posting this review. My husband and i took a trip here in July 2015. We wanted low-key, no fuss, no running around, and basically just some major rest and relaxation. This island was exactly what we were looking for on this trip. I'll give you the run down: 1) I'm not going to lie, travel here... More
