Nice cottages. Beautiful and quiet beach with fine, white sand. Good service. Good food. Only complaint is that the restaurant closes at 7:30pm. There's nothing to do after dinner since there is no bar in the resort and even nearby.

I was staying near Larena at Flora's Dive Resort and was out on a motorbike trip one day and came here to eat. The staff were welcoming and efficient. The location was quiet, off the road, and is on a long clean white sand beach that was deserted. The place was well-looked after with an efficient reception. The Japanese lady... More

A lot of Japanese guests, friendly guests. Staff speaks Japanese and are very helpful. Reservations are reliable. Food is great. You have the beach on your own. Terrace is a wonderful sight. Watch out for fireflies at night. Rooms are value for money and are built like bahay kubo. Prepare for power outages. I guess this is normal in the... More

From the terrace of villa marmarine you look onto a lovely white sandy beach. Local students work here and in return the Japanese owner supports them by funding their education. They also do a lot of other projects for the siquijor community. Both the owner and the staff make great effort to make your stay pleasant. We played a great... More

It was November during our visit to Siquijor. My sister and I were not quite sure about how the weather is gonna be in that part of the country but we proceeded with the journey. Before getting into the plane, we booked a cottage in Villa Marmarine resort and planned to stay for a night in Siquijor. I came across... More

We stayed in the huge family bungalow for 5 nights. When we first arrived, I thought we had really paid too much for what it was. At over £40 GBP / night I was expecting a bit of a treat, and although the bungalow is gigantic, with a double bed downstairs and 3 single beds upstairs, it is still very... More

Cottages are clean and well thought of, staff friendly and attentive, good food selection at resto, peaceful beachfront, great location. Perfect for both family and friends, Japanese owners were also very friendly and all smiles-- made you feel welcomed! Stay here!

I can imagine that at its prime, Villa Marmarine was a wonderful place to stay, with lots of character - in fact it was recommended to me twice, two years apart by different friends. But now the rooms are very dilapidated - I stayed in 3 over the course of my 6 days there (mostly because I was too lazy... More
