The staff are generally friendly, rooms are in beautiful condition, food is good but expensive. it's a dive resort at the end of the day, the home beach is really nice, a bit of a hike down to the water. The only issue I had was with Water, they only provide you, with 1 pitcher per room that is refilled every... More

Good day. Thank you for your review. The only issue according to you was just the water thing?! QUOTE: "1 pitcher per room that is refilled every day. It's quite hot there and it's just not enough in general"... ...We had/have plenty of water in the Restaurant/Bar. Therefore more water was just a view meters away. And since you claim... More

Our cottage on the cliff overlooking the sea was a very attractive home -- an open yet private feeling one can't get in a hotel room. The property is very private, and during the uncrowded time we were there felt almost like a private estate. The isolated feeling fits well with Siquijor, an uncrowded island with a very quiet and... We stayed at Kawayan Holiday Resort for 5 nights (4-8 Oct 2015) and loved it. We were met at Siquijor jetty by the resort van. My husband and I were feeling so hot and as soon as we got into the van, we were offered beer and/or cold water and fresh cold towels to clean our face. This was our... More

We have traveled through Thailand, Vietnam, Fiji and most of the South Pacific and Kawayan Resort is one of the best resorts we have ever stayed at. The resort is a a luxury boutique small resort with luxury villas that you can see both Silvio and Barbara the owners have taken a lot of time and effort in planning. The... More

We originally wanted to see Siquijor, because it looked and promised a little different to the rest of the Philippines, and we also wanted to spend time on some nice beaches. So we were recommended to stay at CoCo Grove but they were full, so we chose Kawayan. This was our very good luck because this is definitely the best... More

We came here for our first wedding anniversary, and what a fantastic choice! A short pleasant ferry ride from Dumaguete, the retreat is located on the cliff tops in a private location. Felt welcome from the moment we arrived, and the service continued to be amazing throughout our stay. The massage pagoda overlooks the ocean (definitely get a massage whilst... More

My girlfriend and I stayed at Kawayan on February 7th - 12th of this year. I have nothing but good things to say about my experience here. Their staff picked us up at the ferry and transported us to the resort. Kawayan is off of the beaten path, which is exactly what I was looking for. The views from the... More

I stayed here from the 23rd of February to the 28th with my wife and one year old son. Pickup from the pier was comfortable, we were greeted with smiling faces a choice of free beer or water and a chat with one of the owners as we drove to the resort in a van. We stayed in the Prestige... More

I agree, the place is nice, has GREAT staff, the rooms overlooking the sea seem idyllic, but forget a warm welcome if you want to drop by and have lunch/dinner with your friends if they stay here. The owners don't seem to want anyone coming to spend their money here if you are not staying at the resort and are... More

We stayed 8 nights at this resort and don't regret one minute of it. Barbara and Silvio made us feel welcome from the start.
