From the crystal blue water to the mantas, the fish, the coral, the sharks, the friendly turtles, the scrumptious food and the wonderful staff who made this holiday awesome. Only got back today and now looking at when we can return with our son. Thank you Lady Elliot for creating some truly spectacular memories that will last for a very... More

We travelled to Lady Elliot Island to see the Manta Rays. The ethos of the island resort is amazing in relation to sustainability and environmental care. The staff are exceptionally professional, friendly and efficient. We really enjoyed the Shakespearean recitals by 'Simmo' the dive boat skipper, who is a true character. The accommodation was very clean comfortable and had a... More

We only stayed for two our of our three planned nights due to a delayed flight (not the flight out to the island) but we still had the most amazing time. It was a blustery couple of days but even so, we experienced the best snorkelling that we have ever experienced. This place is just teeming with all sorts of... More

This was our 4th holiday to Lady Elliot Island. The first time we were amazed at the beauty of the reef and the diving was second to none. The second time we married on the island under a beautiful sunset in Coral Gardens (Did some more diving and saw heaps of Manta Rays and turtles). 3rd time we went back... More

The Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort and Lady Elliot Island has become one of my travel highlights. The Island is a 30 to 45 minute flight from the mainland. The resort offers different accommodation options, from canvas enclosed eco tents (with shared bathrooms) to two bedroom self contained cottages with their own balconies. The resort also has an open air... More

This is a great place for many activities - diving, snorkeling, bird watching or just relaxing. The food is excellent and the staff very friendly and professional. It is an iconic world standard eco lodge creating an ecological paradise in what qws once a very degraded area. There are many eco friendly practices include a comprehensive education centre with links... More

Short stay 3 nights. Great food, great staff, great location and amenities. Enjoyed our break with me diving 4 dives and partner chilling with a couple of snorkels too. How the visit was managed with vouchers for glass bottom boat trip and all activities planned and accessible to all. Ideal. The dive centre was well equipped (brilliant quality) with very... More

It's amazing that Lady Elliot Island isn't more well known. Once you've been here you'll want to come back. The eco resort only holds 120 guests in total. When I visited there were probably only about 50 guests. You can walk around the island in 60 minutes. Most of the time when you're on the beach there's no one else... More

The reviews seemed to good to be true for a small island in the reef. All I can say is when we got back to the mainland after the return flight, we were both beaming. I really enjoyed the simplicity of the place, which accentuated the beauty already present. Food was better than expected for such a remote place. Great... More

This is my fav place for a relaxed and easy dive holiday (it used to be Heron Island). The diving has always been good and with a chance of a manta or two. This trip I stayed in the Eco cabins, which was interesting as any accommodation involving canvas is not my thing. However was pleasantly surprised. I do recommend... More
