We spent 3 nights on the island and immediately wished we had booked 5. From the moment we landed we were both in awe of this gorgeous place.... Unspoilt, quiet, relaxing, invigorating - a 'must do' destination to revitalise your soul and forget phones, emails and all other forms of detritus that we 'can't live without'. We stayed in a... Restful you are forced to feel, given that you can walk around the island in half an hour, have no digital devises to look at, and can enjoy being looked after with plenty of delicious food and helpful staff. You will feel invigorated because of the simplicity of the natural beauty, the vast array of fish, turtles and birds and... More

We recently spent 3 nights on Lady Elliot Island in one of their Eco Cabins. Wow!!!...what a place. From the moment we arrived on the island to the moment we left it was idealic. The island is stunning, the water temperature was nice (even for the middle of winter), the cabin was clean and comfortable, and the food was great.... More

This is my 5th time back to Lady Elliot Island, primarily for scuba diving. The variety of aquatic life here is amazing and I see something new everytime I come. So nice to hear the whales under the water when diving and to see them from the island and on the plane over. Despite being very windy the first 2... More

Just returned from an amazing 3 night stay at this stunning coral cay on the southern tip of the great barrier reef. Have snorkelled with manta rays, turtles, dolphins and numerous beautiful sea creatures that are in abundance both in the lagoon and around the reef itself. This experience was absolutely maximised by the outstanding crew of staff that, both... More

I went to LEI back in 1998 is and loved it then - the turtles in the lagoon and the simplicity of it all. Going back this year I found I remembered most of it - although there are a few more lodges - but the turtles were still there and you still fly in onto a grass runway. I... More

Snorkelling the Great Barrier Reef has been on my and my wife's bucket list for 33 years since we spent 3 years living and working in Oz and just never got around to getting out there. Staying at Lady Elliott absolutely made up for lost time. This very low key super-friendly resort with its uber-enthusiastic staff is out of this... More

I visited Lady Elliot Island in January and was blown away by what mother nature had to offer then. All the staff encouraged me to come back in winter and they told me I wouldn't be disappointed. Well I went away and saved my money for six months and on the 26th July 2015 arrived on the island for a... More

Lady Elliot Island Eco Resort is an absolute treat! Went with my brother and sister in law for a quick weekend break and had a fantastic time! We swam with a dolphin, turtles, manta ray and even saw some whales breaching! The staff were polite and a good laugh during the snorkel safari, glass bottom boat tour and the sunset... More
