Very charming hotel located off Acapulco's main touristic circuit, ideal for that romantic gateway. Rooms are huge, clean and nicely decorated. Quite relaxing atmosphere, great for couples. The premises are rather small, but very well distributed with lots of nice places to sunbath, read, nap, drink cocktails, etc.

The Hotel is about 40 minutes from the crowded center of Acapulco. It is situated on a tongue between the ocean and a lagoon. Really specific location. You can expect quiet and relaxation if you choose this place. The rooms are very charming as the rooms as well. Everything is handmade in this traditional hotel. However If you are searching... Very good and fresh mexican breakfast. Nice atmosphere on beach with hammocks and swinging beds. Only drawback is bar closes quiet early. Maybe because it was in between the week. But they have very good and fresh cocktails. Nicely decorated rooms. Not having air conditioning was absolutely ok for us. Ocean has nice wave. You can go in and swim... More

Pie de la Cuesta is the best place in Acapulco for the sunset, and Baxar is by far the best place to experience it. We stayed for 1 night and had 2 perfect days at the beach. Even if you do not spend the night you can have a wonderful day at the beach. The atmosphere is magical, attention to... More

I really enjoyed my stay in this beautifull hotel. Comfortable and very stylish decored rooms! We looked at all the other hotels in this area compared prices checked the rooms and it was absolutely the best choice we made. The staff is friendly and helpfull. In the morning we went on the lagoon with kayaks. The food is excellent and... More

We went to spend Christmas in Pie de la cuesta and were very lucky to choose BaXar to stay. It is a little hotel- boutique, very well managed, beautifully decorated, quiet, perfect for a getaway and forgetting about the rest of the world. Rooms are spacious, clean and beautiful, restaurant is very nice, a lot of healthy options, although it... More

We enjoyed an excellent weekend at baXar. We all enjoyed the delicious beverages and service at swimming pool and beach. Great service and preparation to enjoy the sunset view at the beach and a very romantic ambiance. For us is the perfect spot at Pie de la Cuesta since we do not like Acapulco's crowds.

Together with my girlfriend we stayed several times in Hotel Baxar and we had a great time. We went there to relax and also to train for a triathlon. Pie de la Cuesta is a breath-taking destination, and Baxar is designed for that. Beautiful facilities: plants, beach beds. Clean and big rooms. Few minor points are the food and service. Although it depends. The last days we had an excellent waiter. And food we ordered improved.

nice ambience, spacious rooms with nice decoration. Kingsize bed with a kind of lounge/sitting area. Waterpressure is not that good in the bathroom but that was not a big issue. Had a good rate through hotels.com with like 50% discount. Hotel is not worth the rackrate they ask on their website. Was able to do the kayak tour that was... More
