I took friends colleagues for a night stay in the hotel after a nice dinner. we really enjoyed the Leone Felice: it has a memorable dinner. We started with the aperitif on the terrace and delicious amuse-bouche. We then had dinner. We were doubtfull after having enjoyed Gualtiero Marchesi's "cusine" but after this trial we are convinced .We love the... More

One of the loveliest hotels I have visited (and I have stayed in many R&C properties). It is situated in a vineyard; was originally the home of the vintner (I imagine). Each room is individual. Ours was a jr. suite (upgraded thru Amex) beautifully decorated, large bathroom with Etro toiletries and a balcony accessed from both bedroom and bathroom. We... More

We had such a lovely time. The spa, the bar and property were exquisite. The views are truly amazing. I was greeted with sincere graciousness during our check in, at the spa and at the bar. The wine list really made us happy as we could drink all the Franciacorta our hearts could desire. The art and antiques throughout the... More

Our unpleasant experience cast a big question mark on the whole 'Relais & Chateaux' brand for us. Booked a three-night stay at the 'Classic' category. Arrived at about 730pm and assigned room 46 in what seemed like an attic of some sort. The room had a stale design, and had a stuffy smell to it (as if this room hasn't... More

Superb location with extraordinary view to the lake Iseo. The rooms are cosy and elegantly furnished. Beautiful surroundings. The hotel provides transportation to the nearby villages. The vinery tour was excellent.

As you drive in through the village of Erbusco you may wonder "Is there really a luxury property here?" Your question is answered when you drive through the gates of L'Albereta. The property is magnificent and, more importantly, the people are amazing; welcoming, warm, happy. The hotel is also very well suited for small business meetings - perhaps up to... More

We had arrived after a long car journey that had taken for ever due to roadworks and my heart sank when i saw the turn off at the motorway which appeared to be full of fast food and shopping centres but we persevered to Erbusco and the turn off to the road of this lovely hotel was gorgeous with picture... I'm putting this review in the Albereta section as there is no section yet for the new restaurant of l'Albereta (the former 3 Michelin Star chef Gualtiero Marchesi left after 20 years of exceptional service). I took friends for dinner to Leone Felice and we had a memorable dinner. We started with the aperitif on the terrace and delicious amuse-bouche.... More

Spent 2 nights here. Got free upgrade to suite as offered room in new section did not provide much garden views as promised. Suite was gorgeous. Service was excellent. However wifi was not up to standard for such a hotel. Only bistro open at present and preferred to eat in surrounding towns where there are many excellent choices.

Secluded paradise…The L’Albereta Relais & Chateaux is one of those off-the-beaten path experiences that travelers delight in discovering. My husband David and I are luxury Italian travel planners with a true passion for extraordinary hotels with elegance and splendor. The Chateaux, a former retreat for local nobility is centrally located in Lombardy, an ideal starting point for discoveries beyond the... More
