We spent a weekend there for a class reunion and the management was good and helpful. We ate two meals at the restaurant and they were very good. The position is great for lake activities and trips and the accommodations are good. We had a problem with two drunk Russians in the middle of the night and the hotel did... More

This hotel is beautifully located, with a stunning view of the lake. The rooms themselves are fine - reasonably furnished, with a little balcony overlooking Lake Maggiore. However the rest of the hotel is a little worn, a little old fashioned, and really in need of a refurbishment. The breakfast is also a bit of a disappointment - no brioche,... More

This hotel has a stunning view of the lake. Clean and well appointed rooms. They have a fine spa where they pamper you. A very good restaurant and staff that are warm, congenial and just generally charming. I think it offers a great value for the price!

We spent 5 days at this hotel during our Christmas visit. We know this area very well. The hotel is in a great location at the lake and has an exceptional beautiful view of the lake and mountains. This is the only highlight. The hotel look and feel is old (furnitures of the 50s?) both in the lobby and the... More

This hotel was one of the worst experiences ever... spider webs everywhere, rooms are dirty, the furniture is still from the fifites... This is a family hotel that was maybe ok in the "old days", but at the moment you can see that the hotel needs a lot of work. Its very expensive for what you get. The name welness... More

What a location, but, sadly, that's what you are paying for. On entering the hotel one is struck by the dim lighting which, along with the decor, is very 1950s. The bedroom (single) was adequate, but that's about all. With a cheap wardrobe and bed, and the TV on top of the wardrobe, such that to view it, it was... More

We stayed here for a couple of nigths. The hotel is located at the lake and has a beautiful view. The room is nothing special and the aircon was broke the first night and appeared to be working or not working without a reason and was very loud. The bed was OK. There is free Wifi but really slow and... More

A nice hotel for a quiet stay in decently maintained rooms with magnificent views over the lake Maggiore. It is well located for attending shuttle serviced meetings at JRC in Ispra, which is not far away from there. Otherwise, the facility is suitable for a long weekend on the lake with its own beach and pleasantly served average breakfasts.

This hotel has comfortable rooms and is well organised for the nearby EU complex. Food for dinner is good and both the restaurant and many rooms have beautiful views over the Lake. Breakfast is poor with dreadful coffee, amazing in Italy

This place has a beautiful location with views over the Lago Maggiore and beyond. The room was small, but well-appointed and had a small balcony. Staff was friendly and food was good. There is a beautiful garden with a swimming pool and, in principle, a bar, but it seems they open this only in the summer. For the price, it... More
