What can we say about our stay? It was a most wonderful and restful stay of 5 days in a beautiful 1800’s villa, set in beautiful gardens with a view to Lago Maggiore. Cinzia lives with her family on site and the B&B of 3 double bedrooms each with their own bathroom facilities is set on the ground floor. Breakfast... More

Stayed here for 2 days at the end of a 4 week Europe holiday. Awesome. Only 3 rooms in a 130 year old villa overlooking the lake (up the hill a little way). Huge room. Vaulted ceiling. Our host, Cinzia, was most helpful. The accommodation matched a wonderful environment. A place to rest, and gather some final memories before heading... More

Cinzia our hostess was so helpful. She picked us up from the train station and cooked us breakfast every morning and then took us to a special train station that we did not know about so that we would get to Malpensa Airport on train. She went out of her way to help us. Her beautiful heritage home was the... More

The B&B: We chose Villa Clementina for our 6 night stay by lake Maggiore and we don't regret it a minute. The signora who runs the B&B is extremely friendly and helpful, and she really cares for her guests and wants to help them maximizing their Lago Maggiore experience. AND she speaks excellent english, which is not easily found here.... More

What a beautiful place! Combined with a very warm welcome from the owner and great hospitality, this makes an excellent base for enjoying Lake Maggiore and the islands. We had a spacious, clean room with a big comfy bed and amazing high ceilings. A cot was set up for our baby based on our emailed request - no fuss, no... More

The B&B owner Cinzia made our stay a very pleasurable experience. Especially her ideas for what to see and do around Lago Maggiore and her restaurant recommendations were really helpful. Her suggestion to go to the a bid hidden away Lago d'Orta and the town Orta turned out to be a wonderful day trip (with the best tiramisu ice cream... More

Our stay at Villa Clementina can only be described as enchanting. From the moment she picked us up at the train station until the time she dropped us off 4 days later, Cinzia enveloped us with care and attention. Without being obtrusive, she provided us with valuable information about the surrounding area, local honey for my scratchy throat, and an... More
