My husband and I stayed here one night on our way through Italy. The drive up the windy road was a very nervewracking, but the views from the hotel were gorgeous! The owners were very hospitable and the food was fantastic! The rooms were very simple, more like a pension. We were really glad we found this place and will... More

My partner and I stayed here for one night after a long, long drive from Holland all the way through Germany and the San Bernardino pass in Switzerland. After the terrifying drive up to Brunate (the bus drivers are crazy) and the sat nav going wild, we arrived at the Capanna exhausted and starving, at around 10.30pm. We were greeted... More

This was a perfect stay and beginning for our foot-walk along the magnificent "La dorsale del Triangolo Lariano". Very helpful and nice innkeeper!

We stayed a couple of days in this hotel, and we really enjoyed the cooking, the view, and the overall cleanliness. The personnel was really welcoming. The hotel is a bit difficult to reach (long, tight and sinuous road), but it is definitely worth it! The only negative point was that the rooms are badly isolated.

Great small hotel on top of a hill over looking Como. It's in a very quiet location with lovely rooms. Great staff and great food made my brief stay very comfortable. I'll be returning next year to this great little hotel.

Hotel is about 15 min from funicolare stop..but hotel owner was so kind that she came in her car to pick us... We had dinner and breakfast there... More

The hotel is quite basic but extremely clean- new showers and the rooms are cleaned everyday. The couple who runs the hotel are such nice people and they pampered to all our fancies. The breakfast is hearty with plenty of freshly made coffee, juice, croissants, fresh bread, cheese and ham (yum!), and jam and honey. The location of the B&B... More
