We have recently returned from a stay at this hotel. We had a room with a lake view which was stunning. The hotel itself is very clean with helpful and polite staff.Unfortunately, they struggled with providing vegetarian meals which was quite surprising and the choice was limited. The hotel is quite isolated and you are restricted from going anywhere in the evenings, though there is... We stayed here for 1 week and had a lake view room which was worth paying for! The road outside can get slightly noisy in the mornings and early evenings, but it didn't effect our stay, although it might for some. The food and service is excellent and was different each evening. Food and drink was reasonably priced too. We... More

We booked a lake view suite. The rooms are comparable to most European rooms. The view, terrace and restaurant were the highlights of the visit. The breakfast is excellent and varied. As mentioned in other reviews, there is a road between the hotel and the lake. The road noise was only noticeable when the doors to the balcony were open.... More

Stayed at this hotel, as the first part of a two centre holiday with a tour company. It was located just 10-15 minutes walk away from Meina, a small village. First impressions were of a traditionally furnished hotel in a beautiful lakeside location. My request for a quiet room was honoured by the English-speaking staff and the room was comfortable... Very Good Hotel - Helpful staff and very reasonable prices, close too Arona and bus and train services to other towns. Ideal bases for the area .Pool looked good for the better weather which should be their in June.

This hotel was great. Food was excellent-a lot of traditional Italian food mixed with a good variety of other things. Breakfast was continental, but filling. Staff in the dining room very friendly and funny. The view across the lake was well worth paying the extra for. Room was very comfortable. Nothing to complain about at all except that I had to... We stayed here for a few days and enjoyed it a lot. Handy to have a car as it is not really near anything. We used it as a base for exploring the region. Room was nice and comfortable. WIFI was weak unless in the lobby but that was ok. The breakfast was always nice in the dining room. We... More

This family run hotel has around 65 rooms and it overlooks the lake on the outskirts of the small town of Meina. Rooms were comfortable, clean and quite spacious but could do with a bit of a touch up in places. The food is good with a reasonable continental breakfast choice and includes a four course evening meal with the... More

Our holiday in Meina, Lake Maggiore, Italy was wonderful. Meina is a few miles from Stresa the main resort but there is plenty of buses and trains to get there. On the first day we booked a trip called Centovalli Railway Round trip. We went by train to Domodossola then on the Centovalli train through to Lucarno in Switzerland then... More
