We stopped here on an organised visit. The hotel is situated right next to the lake, and unfortunately right next a very busymain road. If you want a view of the lake you have to put up with the road. Having said that, the traffic noise was only intrusive at rush hour. The hotel is a bit of a 'brutal'... More

I've been to Hotel Campagna many times, everytime I stop by is a fantastic experiance..! the stuff is very friendly, food is great especially the famous "risotto" of the local chef :) the hotel is not downtown like others but offers the service of a private beach just across the road, in my opinion the best facility to lay down... When we arrived we wanted to check in, wasn't a friendly welcome to start with. Nothing was explained about the facility or internet. We walked up to the room. That was filthy, didn't look like it had been cleaned at all.( Carpet stains, dust and dirt all over the carpet, rash under the bed) So my friend and I decided... More

Although the hotel looks not very romantic from the outside and is located outside of the town we were fully satisfied. The hotel offers a nice private beach and a gorgeous lake view. Be aware however, that there is a busy street between the hotel and the lake. To get to town it takes about 15 minutes walking or 5... More

Small older type hotel, (which looks a bit jaded) and is on a busy road. Some rooms at the front very near road and can be noisy but do have a partial view of the lake. Small room with small bathroom, both in need of some refurbishment, however it was clean, but with inefficient airconditioning. The sink plug was missing... More

We booked this hotel online because it was high season in the area and wanted to make sure that we had somewhere to stay. It is outside of the center of town (a couple kilometers from the ferry dock) on a noisy street. The room was very spare: brick walls, tile floor, no air conditioning, two twins beds. It was... There were 2 other rooms booked out other than us (the receptionist told us) which spoke volumes! The hotel is located on a V.BUSY main road (photo on website a little misleading shall we say) so we had no sleep for two nights due to the fact there was no air conditioning (or fans available) so had to have the...
