Every aspect of a five day stay here was excellent. This sedate and tranquil oasis is run by helpful and friendly people. The breakfast is top class as is the simple lunch menu. There is no dinner available but we enjoyed the short walk into Canobbio and the use of a list of recommend restaurants. The extensive, well kept gardens... More

We also chose this hotel because of the rave reviews and agree that it is a beautiful place in lovely grounds and with very helpful and friendly staff. Probably the largest number of guests are German and the staff seem to switch easily between speaking Italian, German and English. It's an easy 10 minute walk into Cannobio which is a... More

I'd be hard pressed to find anything about this hotel that wasn't pleasant. Almost picked another location since it was a short walk to town. That turned out to be a most positive feature. A quiet, very comfortable setting far away from the noise of inner-Cannobio. The hotel is pristine and they obviously take great pride in everybody loving it.... More

Stayed here based on it's trip advisor reviews. Just as described: nice rooms, friendly staff and beautiful grounds. The breakfast is great and you couldn't ask for nicer surroundings. My only tip to the hotel staff would be a little better cleanup of the rooms and replacement of the soaps when they are low. Other than that, a perfect experience.... More

This is a high quality establishment indeed. It's set a little back from the lovely town of Cannobio on a hill. The grounds are absolutely beautiful, with loungers and hammocks strewn around them - you can have a whole lawn to yourself, as well as sitting around the pool. Breakfast is taken outside, and is the normal Italian buffet with... More

perfect in every way. We had a fantastic three day stay - much too short, I would have stayed for another week at least. The hotel is one of the best we've been to - everything is faultless. The staff are extremely friendly, the grounds stunning (it sits inside a beautiful, huge garden), the pool clean, relaxing and inviting, the... More

Just returned from a fantastic 3 night stay at the Park Hotel Villa Belvedere and the equally wonderful town of Cannobio. I searched for weeks for the perfect hotel, scouring the popular towns of Verbannia, Stresa and Baverno for answers.....and then stumbled upon this perfect hotel...Let me save you the time if you want a stunning hotel, in perfect, peaceful... Hotel Belvedere is a perfect choice if you're staying for more than a night or two on Lake Maggiore. It is set back from the main promenade - about 5-10 mins walk away - set in beautifully manicured lawns and landscaped gardens. It's a perfect place to relax. There's a fantastic pool (cold - I bet it's perfect for the... More

The villa belvedere in Cannobio near the Swiss border is a marvelous place to go. The hotel is embedded in a fantastic park and is a very peaceful place. People are very nice and helpful. Walking distance approx 10 minutes to the historic center with a lot of nice and lovely shops, bars and restaurants. We enjoyed a fantastic time.

My partner enjoyed a lovely short stay at The Park Hotel Villa Belvedere in September 2013. We had wanted to visit the Italian lakes, and found Cannobio very much to our tatse, and somewhat less commercial than Lake Como. The hotel was delightful, at the foot of the mountains that surround the town, a ten minute walk from the lake.... More
