I have just returned fro a 4 night stay at The Cuan. There should be a rating higher than is available on this site as The Cuan is easily the most friendly and customer focused place I have ever stayed at. For Peter and the team nothing was too much trouble and everything done with a smile. My room was... More

Just returned home after a wonderful trip to Northern Ireland, which included a 2 night stay at The Cuan. Caroline and Peter made us most welcome when we arrived and we were immediately made to feel very at home. Our room was extremely comfortable and the disabled facilities in the bathroom were excellent for my husband. The food was superb... More

We already had positive reviews on the Cuan from family members; it didn't disappoint. Ideally situated in the heart of Strangford, close to the ferry, the Cuan offers first class hospitality, a cheerful reception, a warm fire and delicious food. The proprietor and staff were particularly welcoming even though we were a little early for lunch. An interesting programme of... More

We stayed in an accomodation nearby to Strangford and strayed into the Cuan looking for brunch. We were immediately accomodated (at 11:30 am) and seated near a roaring fire. No sooner had we sat down, but menus, hot toast, butter and marmalade arrived and our orders taken. The food was excellent. The coffee was lovely and free flowing throughout and... More

We stayed here to go to the Van Morrison concert. Peter and Caroline were excellent hosts. Room was very comfortable, the pub cozy and the food was superb. I would highly recommend this to anyone who is traveling in Northern Ireland. You must also go to the Castle Ward - excellent walks.

We stayed here early in January 2014 on a three night break, we found the owners Caroline & Peter and their entire staff to be the most friendly, courteous helpful & professional people we have ever come across on our travels (especially Coleman who was fountain of knowledge and was extremely helpful). The rooms were very comfortable and thoroughly clean.... More
