My wife and I stay in villa Cecile for 2 nights during the weekend, it's in wonderful location - walking distance to the town and easy to find. We stayed in the pool view double room, the room is not very big but okey size. There is a spa downstairs which is not bad, the food is very good -... More

Lovely room, perfect for a family, you get 2 nice rooms next to each other with a private corridor. The location is fantastic, views on the pretty lake and walking distance from the breathtaking yvoir village. The restaurant was a great surprise- although quite empty the food was divine and the service impeccable! My girls liked the spa, didn't go... More

Nice place, totally remodelled recently, with view on the lake, quiet and a stone throw to the historical village center. We came for the village AND the spa that the hotel advertised. The price, not cheap at all, included the entries to the spa, but not the breakfast. Unfortunately, beside the room, nice and cosy but really small, the spa... More

This place is great but not for January as the restaurant is closed and not much to do around and the rooms are very much for summer! I would go back! The staff is very pleasant. We stayed here for two nights! Very clean and cosy!

Great hotel, owner speaks good English. I have stayed here twice and found the hotel exceptional, very clean great rooms and service. Well worth a visit in a fabulous location in the medieval village of Yvoire over looking the lake. Stay here as an alternative to Geneva which is very expensive and take the boat across the lake to visit... More

Great service, comfortable room, wonderful location, and reasonably priced. Room was very well lit, with very effective bedside reading lights. On the other hand, once the lights were out, this was the first truly dark room I've found in a hotel--great for sleeping! Heating was easy to control. Bathroom was roomy and well supplied except for paper goods (when we... More

30 minutes from Geneve, an hour from the Mont Blanc tunnel, 90 minutes from Lyon, on the French part of Lac Leman. Cosy wooden hotel by the lake, where my wife and me were given a huge warm room with a king size bed. Tiny SPA in the basement with free access for the hotel guests, and accessory beauty treatments.... More

We stayed two nights at Villa Cecile in Yvoire ahead of a business engagement in Geneva. IT WAS JUST PERFECT. A cute little hotel (only 10-15 rooms) with a nice garden, within walking distance from the medieval village. Service was friendly and effective. I travel a lot and stay over 100 nights/year in hotels. Most "boutique" hotels just put the... More

We had a three night break here to celibrate my parents golden wedding anniversary. There were 8 of across 3 generations. We all had a wonderful stay. We enjoyed walking into town, lazing by the pool and trips further afield. But the high light every day was the evening meal by the pool. The service was good humoured and accomodating.... More

This place is not cheap, but delivers in every respect. Well - sited, a couple of hundred yards from the old town and close to the lake. The rooms are well proportioned and nicely decorated and there is a spa you can use as a guest. The food is absolutely amazing ! Beautifully presented and interesting choices. The staff are... More
