We stayed one night in this hotel and were very pleasantly surprised. It's located in a very nice place, near the forrest, a lot of nature in the vicinity. While this was not the first place, a local German hotel portal suggested as a potential stay from the ratings, because the place has a new owner and hardly any ratings existed, this was a great surprise to me, as this was sure one of the best small hotels I ever stayed in, next to a place in Christchurch, New... We found this charming small hotel by chance when we were trying to escape the unattractive hotel blocks of this town. It opened in May 2010 after a two year renovation by the young owners. The rooms, overlooking a lovely 2000m garden, are large and well designed, with all sorts of extras – mini-bar, tea making facilities, safe, fruit bowl... More
