Stayed two nights with my daughter and her family. They had a two bedroom unit - bunk beds in one room, queen bed in the other - that was perfect for the parents and the kids. Wonderful breakfast on the patio at the room. Bathrooms spotlessly clean, bed very comfortable, nice wall heater for the cold evening. Wifi only in... More

Simply put, Misterios is so wonderful that we, who usually spend the day touring, opted to spend most of our days right at our cabana! Being wowed by the colors of the mountains, the contrasting vineyards, the gorgeous natural looking landscape of the place, and our wonderful private cabana that overlooked the pool was enough for us. Delicious breakfasts delivered... More

I was there just before the halloween long weekend, almost all by myself in the place. The little houses, quite well separated from each others, brings you the impression to be completely alone. The swimming pool is at the same level at the most amazing view of the "Elqui Valley" that you could have and algo... the silence. No back... More

Very nice bungalows with a pool and gardens. Barbecue area topnotch. Bring a good steak and enjoy. Stars are excellent. Breakfast at your door a nice touch. We went in late august but the micro weather in this valley was outstanding +25. Negatives- not the best restaurants (expected a lot more). Parking everywhere difficult. Also note this is not a... I enjoyed everything about this hotel except the evening meal we had there. The steaks ordered as tres cuatros or rather three quarters were rare. Very rare. This was the only thing that let us down. Everything else was top notch. It felt this error on the steaks was perhaps down to us being off season. I wouldn't let this... More

A little bit of a walk to the plaza. We had gotten used to late dinners, but in Pisco Elqui it seems the restaurants are closing up by 8PM (which is normal back at home, but not in most of Chile) Refugio Misterios de Elqui was the perfect get-a-way with beautiful scenery. Breakfast was delivered every morning to our personal... More

No one replied to my emails to book, and then when I rang to find out what was happening they said they were full! I suggest anyone who wants to stay there be wary of their email system, or lack thereof.

I'm sure this must be the best in Elqui Valley! It was a delight, and so was the owner Jaime. Your backdrop is the stunning Elqui Valley mountains - almost too amazing to be real... and of course the vineyards. The rooms are simple, very tasteful and they all have some view of the pool (which doesn't feel like a... More

We went to Santiago to visit my daughter who is studying in Chile and decided to take a trip to La Serena. The map on Trip Advisor showed this place to be just on the outskirts of La Serena. We rented a car and headed East and soon realized this place was about 100 km from La Serena. We decided... More

It was very hard to find a clean hotel anywhere between Santiago to La Serena so finding this place was heavenly. It was clean, comfortable and very relaxing. There is internet access in the main areas just not in the cabanas. The views are spectacular. The night time sky is amazing. It was winter time and it we were traveling... More
